“I decided to edit my post as the original was based on my initial impression. I still feel they're a solid four stars and this is coming from a former collision repair guy. Its apparent they're focused on the customer service satisfaction. If I had a question they were prompt and timely to respond. The location is compact and difficult to find parking. The entrance is was less intuitive to find from the main road. While a majority of the services provided are on site, they are still reliant on external vendors to do specialized work, e.g., calibrations. Completion of the project was a lot longer than anticipated and it would have been nice to have a better understanding of this going in. Its my understanding that supply chain issues created numerous delays (and our car isn't high end) in parts availability. Just ask clear questions up front. And lastly the insurance company and Gerber seemed to work very well together. Overall my wife and I were pleased. Hopefully in the future they could provide a shuttle service, as that was the only hiccup we encountered to and from. Otherwise, we're still quite happy with the services rendered. Thank you Gerber.”

“Awesome experience during something that is generally a headache. Lydia is a great office manager and communicates very well, they provide updates throughout the entire process and my repair was completed a bit ahead of schedule! The quality of repair is well done and not noticeable compared to the surrounding area, paint matches perfectly and they even detailed the inside of my vehicle as well. They managed payment efficiently with my insurance provider, all I had to do was drop off my car and pick it up shortly after, no hoops to jump through or waiting for reimbursement everything was streamlined and efficient. I hope I don’t need their services again in the near future but if I do I’ll trust my body shop needs to the crew at car star Hamlin!”

“Great price for a new Ford windshield and was installed the same day I called in about an hour and a half. Was almost 3 times less than multiple quotes I got for after market windshields. Owner is very friendly and he truly cares. I will go back if I need to in the future and would recommend to anyone!”

“Spoke with Mark at Auto One this morning thinking that I might have to buy a new starter for my mom's car. He told me to bring it in and offered to take a look at it. Was completely surprised AND relieved when he told me that the starter was still working fine. Went over some details with me on how this particular starter works to avoid the situation in the future which I really appreciated since it's not my car. His honesty blew me away, he could have pushed a new starter and I wouldn't have known the difference. I'm really thankful and will think of Mark and Auto One when a starter or glass issue arises in the future!”

“We got our windshield replaced here. Competitive quote. Communication over phone, email and quality of work were fine. Office lady was pleasant and professional. It was a very cold day. The office was a bit un kept and nothing close to photos on the website. Had to use back door to get in as their front door was not functional. Our vehicle was outdoor most of the time from what we observed vs. I was told it will need servicing in the garage. I thought using their mobile service or drop off and pick up might have been better options.”
“These guys were great. I called first to set up a time. Took my window panel out and dropped it off at their shop. They had me fixed up by the time I was done eating lunch and were 30% cheaper than the price of another shop I had called across town. Good guys, providing good service! I'll be back next time I need a widow fixed.”

“I had scheduled a week ago for today, with no trouble. I had inquired about certain services previously over the past several months, until finally scheduling an appointment. The technicians and staff had taken my car in relatively quickly, directed any concerns to their respective resolutions, and were willing to help me understand anything that previously been ambiguous. Despite being unable to get my requested service completed—as it would require additional parts (which although I may disagree with, I have no experience in identifying wear on parts)— I was provided with a full report on the alignment of my vehicle's suspension along with the parts that were recommended to replace. They were also spot on with whether my vehicle had an accident and where, asking me about it, to which I had affirmed. They did not force me to pay for the services before returning my vehicle to me, nor did they cause any sort of unnecessary trouble as does Belle Tire with their work. I did, however, pay for the $25 full inspection fee, which I can do gladly. I've been charged similar fees at other businesses that gave me no information and no feedback, and even caused trouble. Solid business, would recommend, very professional and courteous, straightforward and transparent (in my experience). Guest lobby has some nice infographics available to look at.”
