Everyone has been amazing starting with Adrian to too many others to name. We were given up to the minute updates, our house was NEVER a mess and everyone was really friendly and professional. Thinking maybe we will do our other bathroom soon and we will be calling Kurtis!

I was between a 2 and 3 star on this, but went a little higher because I feel the guys doing the work did the best they could with the situation they were in. The crew was subcontracted out and was spread between 3 or 4 different jobs, so most days you had people working a half day which extended out the completion time. You share the electrician, drywall, plumbers, tilers, etc with all of those jobs and more.
The one bright side of this process was our project manager, Jena, she was excellent and did her best to make things work.
I will say that you absolutely need to make sure that every detail is in the contract because any conversation that you have with the salesperson (designer) means nothing unless its in writing. Full drywall, plumbing and electrical package, does not mean full. It means to replace and repair as needed. If you want all drywall removed (regardless of what the designer tells you), it needs to be in writing. If you are moving plumbing and want old lines taken out, it needs to be in writing or they are capped and left in the walls. If you want switches, outlets, faceplates, and heat registers replaced and not reused, it needs to be in writing. EVERY DETAIL.
Paint, light fixtures and mirrors are not included in their package and its not mentioned until you ask about it, so bear in mind that there will be additional out of pocket costs from the price you are quoted.
If you are looking for a more personal experience with your remodel, this probably is not the company for you. Plan on having to manage the whole process and watch what is happening daily. We had issues with drywall, plumbing and the vanity top that would not have been resolved if we were not very involved.
We will be looking elsewhere for our next renovation project .

We had our kitchen redone in the fall of 2021. I had a large piece of wood on my kitchen island that was unpainted and marked up. I was expected to buy the buy the paint from Sherwin Williams which I could only by in a gallon to the tune of just under $80. The grout that meets the countertops was the not the correct type, so it's split and chipping. I have a chip on one of my cabinet doors already with several indents already. Was it work the price of just under $50,000? No. I'm not really sure this kitchen is going to hold up...it's hasn't even been 3 years and the amount of touch up I've had to do is just ridiculous. I also didn't get a completed job as I was expected to finish painting my own cabinetry. Thankfully, I'm comfortable painting--but, for the price, I should not have had to do anything.

We had the pleasure of working with Adrian Anions on the purchase of a custom bathroom cabinet. He went above and beyond our expectations. Very knowledgeable. Cabinets were delivered on time. I would recommend his expertise to anyone in the market for remodeling. Thank you again Adrian.

So disappointed. I went in to scope out a bathroom project and had an appointment with Stephanie. I showed her photos, measurements, and a bunch of different ideas, to which she didn't show much interest at all. She didn't show me options, example set-ups, materials, etc. (which is why I thought I had an in-store appointment), but instead just basically brushed me off and threw me some outrageous numbers, $45k - $65k. That is just about DOUBLE to QUADRUPLE what other places have quoted me. When I said this amount was extreme, she didn't offer any sort of suggestions to get the price down or to work with me in the slightest. She also claimed that I have a plumbing hook up for a toilet that I most certainly do not. It's a completely empty space with no plumbing hooked up yet. When I got home and looked at what she was pointing out in a photo, it is literally a bag - or a bucket - honestly I'm not quite sure at this point. Photo is attached though if anyone wants a good laugh. Clearly she just didn't care and didn't even bother to actually look at my photos closely enough. Either way, it was a complete waste of my time and I'll be going elsewhere for my bathroom needs. Thanks for nothing Stephanie!

We were very excited to begin our journey into redesigning our kitchen, so we stopped in. We walked in and the lady sitting behind the desk said "how can I help you", and we indicated that we were looking to design a new kitchen. The lady said "ok" and proceeded to sit at her desk while we looked at new cabinets and counters. She never once came over to ask us if we needed help. Finally, we approached her at her desk and we indicated that we were interested in having someone come out to our house to do an estimate. She indicated that they don't do that and said that they did there estimates in the store after we provide them with measurements and photos. So, we proceeded to provide her our address and phone number. She said "I'm sorry, we don't go that far north." We live in Grand Blanc which is about 20 minutes up 75. By this time, given the poor service that we received, I figured out that this was not a place that I wanted to do business with anyway. We later found a great place in Pontiac who was happy to take our 50k for a new Kitchen.

I was so excited to use Kurtis to remodel our kitchen, the beginning was great, but once the remodel started what was communicated to us during the sales process was not true during the remodel. We had MANY things told to us that were not true. For example our cabinets that we discussed were delivered and not at all what we asked for. I was planning on using them for other projects in our home and we will be finding someone else. Im so disappointed. The communication breakdown here is lacking, they will say whatever you want to hear to get you signed and then they are done with you.

My husband and I had such a bad experience with our salesperson, Stephanie, that we won't be using this company. We were not shown samples, helped with design, etc that you would expect in a beginning consultation. Instead it was asked of us what we wanted and then priced out the cheapest they had. I was not given any options in varying price points or helped with design. I had to keep asking questions about what the next steps were because Stephane showed us a sketch of our space and just sat there. I couldn't get out fast enough. She clearly didn't want my business.
