Consistency across checkouts is important. If you’re suppose to ask for ID when selling alcohol then every checkout person should. The “once in a year experience” of being asked for ID when shopping several times a month (purchasing alcohol) creates a bad experience. Be consistent!
I don’t have to bring my wallet (ID) in if I am using Kroger pay/Apple Pay etc. I had to run out and get my ID after waiting for the clerk to make their way over….eventually.

Produce is never ripe here and could be fresher.

I’ve been shopping at this Kroger for years, but lately, the quality and attention to detail have really gone downhill. The biggest issue? Expired food on the shelves. I’ve personally come across multiple items well past their sell-by or expiration dates—including dairy products, deli meats, and even packaged snacks.
It’s incredibly frustrating (and concerning) to have to double-check every single item before putting it in my cart. On more than one occasion, I’ve had to toss something after getting home and realizing it was expired, which is not only inconvenient but unacceptable for a major grocery store.
Management really needs to take this more seriously. Rotating stock and removing expired products is basic grocery store hygiene. Until this is addressed, I’ll be shopping elsewhere whenever possible

Had the self checkout attendant come review my checkout footage to confirm that I was not stealing any of the 6 items I had purchased. I don't think I need to explain why customers are insulted by that.
Put cameras up so customers can see in the back. I trust you less.

The Kroger on Sashabaw in Clarkston, Michigan, isn't a bad place. I haven't had many out of the ordinary problems. The store seems well maintained, the produce is. Normal for a large company, mostly pretty fresh and crisp on fruit and vegetables. Prices have gone up everywhere it sucks, especially if you're like myself and eat healthier. Anything Salmon, fresh, or from the natural environment is gonna cost our families. It's unfortunate that anything that kills us quicker is so cheap. But if any of you are Educated in anything Mythological, or religious, you understand if we're gonna support a cooperation or Banking family, This Kroger at least allows us to feel a little better about cost, and budget, whether true or illusion. Staff have been helpful and patient. Big plus to the meat department. The staff are great. I'm a big salmon person, so when I order, I'm picky because I like my food weighed in 6oz slices. The meat staff have been more than helpful in cutting my salmon fillers for me. Thanks to you all @ Krogers.

I bought kroger named brand hot dog buns. For coney night. Every one of the buns was hard and fell apart when I tried to open them. I'm very disappointed that I got a named brand item from a store that should be selling good products not cheap products. 😒 I will never get kroger brand bread or buns again. This needs to be taken care of asap.

Some of the worst customer service ever.

Grocery pick up is becoming a major hassle at this location. Every single time I schedule a pick up I get a phone call less than an hour before the time I reserved saying it won't be ready until later. Gray out the time slots if you can't do it. Stop overbooking.

Conviently located but some rude employees. I checked out at the self checkout. Paid, got my bags AND my RECEIPT in hand, the man working the self checkout yells out ma'am, not once but twice and I turn around thinking I left a bag but no, not the case. He yells out in front of everyone that I did not pay for my items. As soon as he yells at me, a woman comes around the corner and says, no those are mine! He didn't even apologize for the embarrasing scene, just waved his hand at me to go! You might want to go to the other stores, they don't seem to know how to man their stations here.

Manager didn’t seem to care about my situation. I came to Krogers to use my points for gas and the attendant didn’t know how to use my points and she seemed confused and upset after I told her I wanted to use my points. I didn’t have time to wait for her to refund and redo the transaction as I was in a bit of a hurry. The problem is the manager made an “excuse” that “MAYBE” the system wasn’t working etc. shouldn’t a manger know of any system is down, not maybe? I would have gone to citgo where gas is .40 cents cheaper!!
