I recently brought in my prized possession (aka weekend sports car cruiser) for some preventative maintenance (master clutch cylinder replacement, clutch fluid change, oil change, etc.) and was really impressed with the level of customer service from both the Manager and Owner of Clarkston Auto & Transmission. Not only were they very responsive on the communication front, but they also charged a very reasonable price for the work performed (especially given the labor hours involved). I would not hesitate to send a friend or family member to this shop and will be back the next time I"m in need of service. Thanks!

I am always anxious when I have to goto the mechanic but Mark took the time to put my mind at ease. The pricing was reasonable and service was pretty fast especially considering how busy they are. Would definately recommend Clarkston Auto & Trans Repair!
Back for a second visit (unrelated). As before Mark & Rob were great! Fair, honest & affordable. I feel lucky to have a shop to trust & know I am safer on the road because of them ❤️

I needed the small service of my battery replaced. I was in a tight spot and needed my car asap. It was not lucrative for them. They had a lot of other work to do. I was in and out of the shop with the work done in less than an hour at a very reasonable price. There are few mechanics I have encountered that would get this done, be kind, and at a very reasonable price. Thank you. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience! Mark was incredibly kind and easy to talk to. My girlfriend and I are new to the city, and having car problems in an unfamiliar area was quite stressful. Based on recommendations, we chose to come here, and it was the best decision. Mark and his team were very honest and helpful. For any future car problems, this will be the only place we go. Highly recommended!

Trust me never go to this place they rip you off big time. They say they change spark plugs with factory plugs and all the other parts. This is totally false they use the cheapest spark plugs and engine coils than they lie to your face about this. I had my veichle repaired here and 2 weeks later the same things I had fixed broke down. There answer bring the car back in so we can steal more money from you. Absolutely do not go here unless you like burning money terrible. I got the sa perk plugs to prove it Mark. Thanks for screwing me over

Mark is a life saver. Brought my 2019 Jeep Cherokee in due to it not coming out first gear. Fear of needing a new transmission and warranty might not cover the cost was set aside thanks to him and his team. Turned out a 3rd party software messed up something and he managed to fix the issue for a very affordable price. He could've lied and say I need a new transmission and cost me a fortune, but he took his time and found the real issue and helped me out. Will definitely be going back for future service.

Mark is an absolutely great guy and explained everything that was worked, looked at in my 05 GTO and told me exactly what it needed fixed, i’d rate 10 stars if i could.
