Needed an oil change and some other service to my car so I decided to make an appointment on Bowmans web site. Added all the information they requested at 9:00 a.m. this morning and was given a reply they would call me back on the phone number I gave them to set up the appointment. It is now 6:50 p.m. and I've not heard from anyone. I wouldn't think setting up an appointment for an oil change wouldn't take this long. Perhaps they don't need the business. I've purchased 2 new cars from them and leased a third new car.I'm pretty sure I can find another dealer to service my car and set up an appointment in a timely manner and sell me my new car which will take place within 3 months time.

I am a grown woman and this is the first time I've ever walked into a dealership by myself to purchase a vehicle. I was scared because I don't know how to negotiate. It gives me a lot of anxiety. The first question I asked was "do I have to negotiate because I'm scared" and I was blessed enough to be working with Linda Kelly, who said we don't negotiate because our prices are better than blue book.I'll start from the beginning, I was dying to get myself a stingray Corvette and I called a lot of dealerships and some told me they had one and they made it really difficult to get in but not Linda. She told me that she would have it ready for me to test drive as soon as I get there and when we arrive she was super kind super helpful and allowed me to take it for a spin. I came back in knowing that I wanted the car. I was really anxious. I wanted to make sure I was making the right choice. She provided me with every single document that I could ever need regarding the purchase price inspection. Hi history of the vehicle and just comforted me during the entire process, because it was not a cheap by, and I kinda needed my hand, held for a little bit because it was my first vehicle that I purchased all by myself. The manager was also an amazing man who really helped me feel more comfortable about my purchase and explain to him that I've been ripped off before and I wasn't even alone when it happened. He just had so much compassion for that and I didn't have to negotiate a single penny because it was already under market price. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that left me feeling great, and I would easily purchase another vehicle from them!!

Had the dreaded Service High Voltage System error a few weeks back on my 2014 Volt. Took it over to Bowman Chevrolet in Clarkston Michigan and worked with Aimee Sloas (assistant service manager). Car was throwing P0AA6, P1FFF and P1E00. This is normally fixed via the standard BECM/HPCM2 update. Was told it would be over $1100 to refresh the modules needed, and they identified 6 modules in total they said needed to be reflashed. I'm very familiar with this vehicle, and the fixes needed to certain issues that can arise, and I told them that was too much and the extra modules were not part of the standard fix for this issue. They said it would then be $522 to just do the BECM/HPCM2 fix. I told them this was still overpriced, as most dealerships charge $200-300 (I confirmed with numerous sources this was the case). They said that was the price, take it or leave it. And if I left it, I would be on the hook for $145 diagnostic fee (and no fix done). I argued this, saying they knew they were overcharging, but they refused to give me the car until I paid it in full, and would not consider any reduction of this fee. Finally paid it, and took the car home. Took the vehicle to another local Chevrolet dealership, based on a recommendation. The service manager there agreed they were trying to overcharge me, and told me he could do the BECM/HPCM2 for under $300. While it was there, he also had him do an oil change, flushed the battery coolant system completely, and flashed a couple other modules. All for $930 out the door. Compared to Bowman who wanted $1100 just for flashing modules where the computer does the work. I'd highly recommend NOT DOING BUSINESS with Bowman or their service department, if this is the way they conduct business. KNOWINGLY TRYING TO OVERCHARGE, stealing your money via a diagnosis fee when you refuse to pay their overinflated prices, and pathetic customer service. They lost a potential future customer, and my family member who was planning to go in there and order a new truck is now going to a different dealership. I'm glad they lost out on a sale due to their overcharging tactics. I hope it was worth the $145 they made off me and I hope others reconsider taking their vehicle there for service as well. DO NOT DO IT!

Brian is such an incredible spiritual guide when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. I love how straight forward, honest, efficient, and kind he is. This is a really great dealership with an equally amazing staff. Highly recommended!

Bowman made for a great first time car buying experience. No nonsense fees, they did the best to get me all the available incentives and gave me above KBB for my trade in. Chris and Jonathan were both super friendly and knowledgeable about EVs and helped me through the process as quick as possible.

This was the best dealer experience I've ever had, and I've bought over 20 new vehicles over the years. I live out of state, and Brian C. made the online buying process easy and hassle free. In today's market they could charge a couple thousand dollars on a markup but they didn't. I actually got it below MSRP with rebates, and got the GM financial special interest rate. Brian continued excellent customer service after the sale until the car was picked up by the carrier I hired to get it home. I give the highest recommendation for Brian and this dealer, higher than five stars!

I have lease several vehicles in the past several years, and I've always had great luck with Bowman Chevrolet whether it's with the sales department, the person that answered the phone when your call or the service department, they are always responsive and let me know what's going on with my car when I'm leasing or if it's in the service for some reason. I highly recommend Andrew Gentges if your looking for a sales associate, he makes the process of getting a vehicle very easy with the new technology available. You no longer spend a half a day waiting to find out if you get approved, I was in and out within an hour, now it was late when I arrived so I didn't expect to get the truck that night so we made an appointment for the next day. The truck was ready when I arrived, put my name on some documents, he sat with me in the truck help setup the feature's that I wanted to use and I was on my way in 30 minutes or less. So I give the dealer, Andrew and the rest of the staff that I've dealt with in the pass an A+ and a gold star!!

Tony Gazette was amazing! He got me into an amazing lease of my dream car and communicated very efficiently throughout the process. The day I signed the papers I was able to go into the dealership and come out within 30 minutes (including a car tour in the freezing wind). Thanks Tony!!!

I don't write many reviews. I'm motivated to write this one because when someone works as hard for you as Jonathan Burnicle did for me, you want to recognize it in meaningful ways. I needed a new car, and had very little time to devote to the effort. In addition, trying to buy a new car with the chip shortage is brutal. I called several dealerships with varying degrees of customer service. I ultimately ended with Jonathan Burnicle at Bowman Chevrolet. He created the best buying experience I have ever had with a dealership. He was responsive, customer centric, and went above and beyond at every turn. He even came in on his scheduled off day so accommodate my schedule...he offered it proactively. When you work hard for your money you want to do business with people who work hard for theirs. Jonathan and Bowman Chevrolet definitely fit the bill. Oh...and it matters how other employees operate when you are in the environment. Every single layer of that team was genuine, available, and truly pleasant to interact with from leadership all the way through. As I talked to people they had years of tenure and that happens when you love where you work. I would recommend Bowman Chevrolet and Jonathan Burnicle to anyone. He was patient, pleasant, credible, professional, and hardworking. Everyone there was. Spend your money with people who earn it as much as you had to work to. This place will not fail you.

Service is subpar. Leasing vehicle was easy. However getting help with a service they don't provide. Like a windshield from their preferred provider.. be prepared to handle everything on your own. At least I supposedly get to use their parking lot. Last Bowman vehicle I will ever purchase

This is my second purchase at bowman Chevy. I recently needed to purchase a new car in a pinch and Chaz made sure I had something within my budget. He was great at making sure my new car was good on gas while also having all the features I was looking for. I really appreciated how straight forward he was. I will definitely be back in the future for car number 3. Thanks for all your help!

I was overly impressed in working with Brent, the sales manager, who then hooked me up with Ashley to work on the details and sale of the car. This was by far the smoothest process I have ever been through. Both are extremely organized, knowledgeable, and processed everything quickly. This was by far one of the more efficient auto closings I've been to in years. I will be taking all my business to John Bowman, and Ashley in the future. It's nice to see them go out of their way to get a customer what they needed, including a big red bow on the car during delivery!

We purchased a used vehicle today and I was very pleased with the no-hassle, no-pressure experience. I appreciate that there is no "haggling" with price so you know what you're paying from the minute you test drive. I left feeling like we got a great deal, we're treated fairly and we didn't waste a lot of time in the process. Thumbs up and we will be back for another purchase in the future!
