I brought my puppy Tramp there, and they were awesome, he is slightly a nervous pup and they worked really slow with him at his pace with great snacks, food and distraction. It was a great time for him and positive enforcement going to the vet. I definitely recommend these guys they are truly awesome and great and know how to approach the animals plus they give great notes in there summary reports!

Was dealing with some issues unexpectedly with my cat Bart and was worried so I called a few places and was not receiving the experience or help I assumed I would from reviews. But when I contacted advanced pet care I got a completely different experience. Maria was very helpful and also helped point me in the right direction to get CareCredit to help pay for the bill. The Vets were also very nice and helpful. Very pleased with the experience and services I’ve received so far.

I have been a very happy client since 2005, Dr. Sheldon and the staff are the best and my cats get exceptional care. And kudos to Zach for locating the treat for Amy.

My first experience with them was one of the worst days of my entire life. My cat, Snickers, was breathing funny and I was trying to get her into her vet, but they were quite dismissive. I googled for a new vet when I came across Advanced Pet Care. They got her in right away and were so wonderful and patient while I made the extremely difficult decision to let my baby cross the rainbow bridge. When I informed her usual vet that she had passed, they sent a sympathy card indicating that they assumed my female cat was a male dog. I eventually decided to adopt another cat, Patches, and it was no question that I would be bringing him to Advanced Pet Care of Oakland. He just had his annual visit yesterday and they couldn’t get enough of him. They have always been so kind and loving towards my cat, and I appreciate all the staff that I have come in contact with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Best annual apt experience I’ve had. All the staff was lovely! We got to be in a room the whole time and the fear free approach helped my cats feel safe. I highly recommend Dr Sopoliga for your babies care.

Unfortunately we had a very sad experience. We had to put our dog down due to lung cancer. However the facility and the staff made it as pleasant as possible. They had a very comfortable room where we could love our dog during the last minutes of his life,then they gave us a blanket and a nice box to carry him home in.We have other pets and will be a client at Advanced from now on.

Great local vet. They've taken great care of both my older dog and our newer dog, including all the new puppy care. They offer same day appointments if you have an immediate issue. They are so calm and gentle and take great care with my big dog who is nervous at the vet.

I’ve been taking my dog here for 2.5 years and I love this place! Dr. Sopoliga and Dr. Sheldon have been wonderful, and they have the friendliest, most helpful front desk staff! My dog was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease a year ago and they’ve taken such good care of her. She also gets her teeth cleaned here and they do an amazing job. Best vet I’ve ever been to!

I have been using this vet with my cats and now my dog for years. I tried to change to a different vet this year that was closer to my home. I realized how great Advanced Pet Care is. They always stay in touch, explain everything I need to know very well and allow me to decide what options to have done.

Dr. Sopoliga is the best! We moved to a different city but I won’t take my bernedoodle, Mochi, anywhere else.
