Love the Dr. & Staff. Not only do they take care of our animals on a regular basis but we had a couple emergencies & needed to get in soon, they always accommodate & are willing to help any way they can. Sad note..... had to have dogs put down, over past year & they are so compassionate & understanding. Dr came right out to our car as to not cause even more pain for us and our fur baby's. Thank you guys so much, we appreciate all you do. ?

The staff is all great. Very sweet and caring. Their prices are very reasonable and reflects that they care more about our pets then money. I love this vet clinic and the staff so much that I drive 2 hours away from my house. They are the best.

I have three cats and a dog and we spoke on the phone with one of the assistants there and they gave us a number for all of our animals to be seen for what we wanted done and when we actually got to the vet actually ended up being almost more than double what was quoted and it was only for two of our animals. Not all four and I didn't feel that the doctor spent very much time looking at the animals. It was just a very broad diagnosis and on our way it was very busy too. Lots of animals in and out. My 6-month-old puppy was in heaven. My cat however, was tortured

PLEASE READ: On 10/6/2023 I took my 1 year old dog to Surrey she tested positive for parvo, they told me that her chances are significantly higher with aggressive IV treatment for at least the first few days, she stayed, with every update they stated she was doing well, walking around her kennel even. I got to bring her home 10/9/2023. On 10/12/2023 my older dog who was 2 years old was taken to Surrey after vomiting 4 times that morning and tested positive for parvo also, they recommended aggressive IV treatment as they had with my first dog. I told them that my dog is NOT a mean dog, he’s never bitten anyone BUT he is an extremely anxious dog so he may not act right once I leave so he will need medication to calm him. Within 1 hour of dropping him off Surrey had called and said they got an IV in his arm with medicine but they didn’t know if they would continue treatment because he was starting to get a little aggressive. Their website says they deal with dogs with behavioral problems on a daily basis and Alex who works there confirmed this on the phone. My dog was scared and sick he didn’t have behavioral problems. At 7:56am BEFORE they opened on 10/13/2023 they were messaging me on Facebook to come get him because he was “too aggressive” and “wasn’t sick enough”. My other dog was not acting any worse and stayed for 4 days, while he got a lousy 18 hours of treatment. I had been told that with parvo one minute they can be doing okay and the next they’re not. So I’m not sure why him “not being sick enough” made it okay to send him home, knowing at any point he could go downhill very fast. I went to get him and they said “we believe he will be okay.” I believed them as “professionals” that my dog had a fighting chance as they had saved my other dog. So I took him home, they sent him home with some meds and I pushed fluids. The morning of 10/15/2023 my baby died a painful, traumatizing death in my arms. It was confirmed by another vet that he died of septic shock because he was not given enough antibiotics aggressively through an IV, which Surrey denied him after I had paid them to save him and trusted them because at that moment “he wasn’t sick enough.” I had 3 separate vet clinics that could not believe they sent him home and they confirmed they would have sedated him even more and kept him on IV fluids. I called Surrey to complain and they said they thought he would be okay because of how he was acting, but then proceeded to tell me they had dogs who came in and stayed who felt even better than him. Why was my dog sent home because “he wasn’t acting extremely sick” if they’ve kept other dogs that have been doing better than him? Any vet who has a brain knows parvo is not something to chance he needed IV fluids and antibiotics the first few days and they knew that. I told them that I believe my boy would’ve been okay if they kept him there on IV fluids and I was told it’s a “high possibility.” One minute they told me aggressive IV fluids are highly necessary to a pet with parvo and the next they tell me “he should be okay” without it. Surrey vet sent my boy home to die and they knew that as they had told me with both of my dogs they have a significantly higher chance of survival in the hospital. Because my boy had anxiety and got scared without me there Surrey vet decided his life wasn’t important. They have been a vet for 40 years and apparently can’t handle a dog who is scared and sick, so sent him home knowing his chances of survival were very slim. Please do not bring your babies here for something serious. I regret trusting them with my baby, unfortunately because they treated my other dog I had faith they were doing what was right for Charlie. Had I known they were not being truthful when they said “he should be okay” I would’ve took him to someone else. I feel guilty for trusting them and not taking him somewhere else, it went from “it’s very important to have aggressive IV treatment” to “he’ll be fine without it” I made the FATAL mistake of trusting someone who is supposed to know more about sick animals.

I am from out of town. My dog needed somewhere to get help with a ripped toenail. They were able to get him in right away and take care of it. Very nice staff! Very impressed overall! Thanks so much!
