I would give zero stars if I could. I would not recommend this vet to anyone with a sick animal. He is not very personable, not informative of whatever problem your animal is having. Kind of talks down to you, in my opinion. I regret the day I ever took my sweet girl there.

He is great, he's not overly friendly, but he knows what he's doing and has been doing it for years.
I will be sad when he decides to retire.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Dr. Snyder has 0 sympathy for his clients/customers. He didn’t even introduce himself or say hi when he came into the exam room to put my 14 year old dog down to rest. Do not recommend this vet whatsoever for any circumstances.

Dr Snyder has been my vet for many years. Back in the day, he was a fabulous equine vet, so caring and helpful. I was heartbroken when he retired from horse care. He continued as my vet for our dog. 8 months ago she had to be put down. Dr Snyder and his staff were so caring and so helpful after she was put to sleep. I can't say enough nice things about Snyder Veterinary clinic!

Six out of Five stars if I could. Service was wonderful and the doctor made me feel safe letting him spay my pet. Took a little while to get my cat in but it was well worth the wait. She healed up quickly and is back to her playful energetic self. I could not be happier with the vetneary performance in taking care of my baby.

I have been going here for years and would not go back! My experience with my dogs final hour was horrible. No compassion...nothing. At one point he said, "If she bites one of us.. I'll have to cut her head off and send it out". We were there to say goodbye to our fur baby and he says that! she was scared and it was a horrible horrible experience. not peaceful. No, I'm sorry...nothing. Now I have to remember her last moments to one of torture because that is how it felt. He couldn't get a vein and would just storm out and then come back in. injected her with something to make her sleep that I could tell hurt her because she started to freak out after the injection and then I had to listen to her gasp! I can keep going but bottom line is that he needs to retire and also treat his staff better. very rude and will not back. Thanks for the trauma!

This office is truly a gem. I've taken my dog to a few different vets over the years, and Dr. Snyder is the only vet I've actually seen give my dog a thorough examination. My guy is large and somewhat intimidating, Dr. Snyder doesn't flinch.I appreciate his conservative approach as well. He doesn't push unnecessary tests or medications, but has them available if they become necessary. Don't get me started on the prices. I leave there shocked everytime by how reasonable the prices are.The staff is wonderful. They're friendly and accommodating. I've never experienced a long wait time. Even when I was 20 minutes late due to the construction traffic, they still saw us, and in record time.Recently, sad to say, I strayed and tried out a different vet that I thought would be more convenient because it was closer. That "convenience" almost cost me thousands of dollars and had me convinced my dog had cancer. This place wanted to do full body xrays for metastasis before even getting biopsy results.I came back to Dr. Snyder for a second opinion (I'd like to give them another 5 stars for how the office handled me with my anxiety level that day). He did everything (aside from the unnecessary xrays) for just over 1/3 of the price the other vet was going to charge me. The biopsy came back normal. Dr. Snyder personally called and left the message.Thank you Dr. Snyder and staff. I'll never stray again!

I can't say enough about the kind, COMPASSIONATE, and honest staff! We've lived in Chesterfield for 4 years and Snyder is the 3rd vet we've been to! The doctor and staff truly care about the animal, and not just making money.

We took our 2 kitties to Dr. Snyder last week for the first time. Our experience was great all around. The staff was very friendly and loved on our babies. Dr. Snyder was very thorough, and definitely has a good sense of humor. Our kitties even got a little goodie bag for being new clients. I love the small town feel the office and staff has! You all are awesome ❤️

After seeing Dr.Snyder for 20 years, I had to leave and find another vet. If your looking for an inexpensive vet and your dogs are not ill he is the one for you. But if your dog is ill, then I suggest going elsewhere. I lost my little girl who died 3 days after getting a vaccine, I called a day later saying she was very ill, they had no openings and I was told to go elsewhere. When I took my new puppy to see him for her vaccines, I told him that I was concerned about her weight.I was told to give her more food. I went to a new vet, who ran tests that showed she has a genetic liver disease. Just note that every visit doesn't have to have the same diagnoses.Every issue isn't cured by Deramaxx, Gabapentin, they mask what may be a real problem. Like when he says that your dog just strained their leg and you go else where and your poor dog has torn ligaments.I have many examples from family and friends, who feel the same as I do.I gave him two stars because he is inexpensive.

What a wonderful visit! My little guy approved of the vet tech and vet with kisses! Very reasonably priced and no extra frills. Thank you for the great visit today!

I have never had a Vet or office staff treat us and our pets so well. The care is phenomenal, prices are super reasonable and they have been our pet care provider for over 25 years… Love them!

I'm not one to ever write a review but my experience was so unpleasant. My cat was in for sneezing and coughing. The doctor came in no gloves. He didn't even try and feel the cat out to see if he was comfortable with him. My cat being sick and stressed bit him. Literally screamed "God damnit" immediately walked out of the room. Never came back to check a temperature nothing. Just threw an antibiotic at him that hasn't even helped which is frustrating. I don't know if he was having a bad day but I just thought his actions were the most unprofessional thing I've seen in a while especially since this is the job he chose and we all know animals are unpredictable. I was very uncomfortable so was the cat obviously.

We brought our 8 weeks old Mini Bernedoodle there. Love the staff. They were always so sweet. Around 4 months old our dog was having some allergy issues. We started off with changing food, to ear drops ( supposed ear infections) this all started in March. By the first week of April my dog had a serious problem so they gave him an allergy shot. Seemed to only help for about 2 weeks and again ear drops. I called to get him in but they didn’t have an appt for a few weeks by now my dog was scratching so bad he had sores, he wasn’t eating as much, playing etc. Well come to find out after we took him to another vet for an emergency he was diagnosed with mange. Never been around other dogs he is 7 months old. After that we ended up having to treat the whole family because it spread to my husband. I was so frustrated that for one he was misdiagnosed and they couldn’t get him in to even figure this out. I would be hesitant to take your pet here. I even called to let them know that I will no longer be coming there and to cancel all the future appts we had made. Thankfully my dog is finally feeling better. This was a nightmare.
