Went twice today. First time was fine, last time cashier kicked my son off the horse. For no reason. Called the manager and he said it's not broken and for customer use.

This is a great store overall but my experience with 'Heather' at the customer service desk made it not so pleasant. She had a very dismissive attitude and offered for me to talk to the manager with a very nasty tone. Meanwhile I was asking a simple question very kindly just out of curiosity. While I was waiting for her to finish helping me another customer wanted to drop off a package to return. She was very dismissive and rude with him as well. Meanwhile the man was foreign and didn't speak very good English. I love the store but I'm not a fan of her. That's all.

As always, 2 registers, long lines, cranky customers. They continue to raise their prices for items that decrease in quantity but can't seem to pay actual people. Bakery and Deli closed at 6 on a Saturday. Yet they business profits.

Waited over 25 minutes at the deli counter. Only one employee. Then another walks up and tries to take the first person she sees. Terrible store!

We definitely need one in the DMV. Everything you want, it's like a one stop shop. From groceries, bakery, household items to libations. Clean, organized and well stocked. It's like a Walmart but better. Better yet, it's like a Wegmans but better. They have a lot of grab and go stuff for a quick meal prep. Checking out was a breeze. Definitely will return.

Horrible experience with a woman named Dawn in general merchandise terrible customer service when I asked for her help finding something. Was moody and kind of made me never want to go back... Should have stuck with going to Kroger.

It's 7:20 pm on a Wednesday and there are 2 normal registers open and 4 out of 6 self scan registers open with an unbelievably long line! They get you in but apparently can't be bothered to get you out in a timely manner.

Horrible and rude employees. No customer service. I won't even get into what happened to me there. The store is still dirty and unkept even after the remodel. Employees follow shoppers when they should be working.

Consistent with the rest of America, Meijer's has gone downhill. The 23 & Gratiot store is particularly bad. Not only are the lines long and staffing levels low, it's dirty, disorganized and full of the usual demoralized masses. If this store was human, it would be a crack-head. I recommend avoiding this particular location, however since the USA has become a national train-wreck, the same lowly conditions probably exist at most grocery stores. My advice? Drive north into the country and do business with the road-side farmers.

It was 8:30 in the morning and all but one of the bottle machines weren't full. What kind of joke is this? And how can you call for any help when there isn't even a phone to call anyone. Had to wait over 30 minutes to use the machines since there were two other people before me.

Do not come here if you don't have 30 minutes to wait in a line. Regardless of time of day they will have a line wrapped around the store with 1 register open

Rude employees..I could tell they did not want to work today! I over heard 2 people in the deli department gossiping about another coworker being lazy and laughing at her. Saw a man behind the deli counter picking something out of his teeth with his finger and then scoop macaroni salad for a customer never washed his hands or no gloves. Gross

I hate Meijer they have 20 checkout counters and only one takes cash seriously that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life if I buy a head of lettuce I got to put it on my credit card or wait in line for 45 minutes get with it Meijer
