I'm reaching out to the public because I'm feeling stunned and in shock right now because I had a terrible experience with this salon today. This incident started last Friday when I went in and spoke to one of the hairstylist that have taken care of me on many occasions about needing some waxing done before I go on vacation. I had let her know that I'm struggling right now financially and was wondering if I could get a coupon or a discounted price. She informed me that she would give me a call after she spoke to the person that does that particular waxing and I told her thank you. Today I had reached out explaineing my concern and frustration with not ever receiving a call back and wanted to speak to the owner. The receptionist said the owner could call me back. I had let her know that I would call the salon back before she left because I had somewhere to be. I happily surprised when the owner ended up calling me back promptly. I had spoken to Tharisa and let her know what had occurred last Friday and how it made me feel. She has also done me hair in the past and I been going to Gemini for years so I felt comfortable addressing my concerns. Instead if apologizing or making another suggestion to help me she had cut me off and got defensive feeling like I was attacking her buisness and had than told me she was going to help me out but now would not and finished by saying, "I hope you have a nice vacation" and hanging up the phone. I was very upset and left feeling like she had in turn just validated my feeling of feeling disregarded and unimportant. If I was critiquing and insulting her buisness would I really have been a repeat customer? She didn't let me finish my explanation and just assumed that I was putting her ownership skills down. As a buisness owner she should know that every customer has a right to call and express any kind of concern. I personally don't think every customer is right but they do have a right to be respected and heard. She didn't do that. I want to feel like I matter when I pay for a service. This is not a cheap salon either but I kept going back because I liked the environment and people but now I will have to look elsewhere because of what happened. I wasn't wrong and I only ask that Tharisa think about how she reacted and think about her customers needs. If she only knew what I'm going through right now maybe she would have been compassionate and understanding. If she really intended on helping me don't you think she should have mentioned that in the beginning instead of going into the reason why I probably didn't get a call back. It's upsetting and very convenient. Now I have to go far to find a place that knows what proper etiquette means. ?

I am SOOOO excited I found my lash artist, Lisa Porter. I was her client for two years at the Brighton Deka Lash location. When she left, it took LOTS of investigation to find her. I am so fortunate I was able to locate her at the Chelsea, MI Gemini Salon & Day Spa. I was a mess for over six weeks!
Finally, I have been able to get the quality services of lash extensions and brow lamination as before. Lisa is a perfectionist and would never let me leave unless I was 100+% satisfied. She always goes beyond my expectations when I see her. I look forward to having new services done at Gemini. See you soon, Lisa!

Absolutely wonderful service! This is where I would get my haircut when I was younger. I’ve since moved out of Chelsea, but I recently helped my dad there to get his haircut. He’s been going for years and getting his cuts from Theresa.

I recently took my sister-in-law and her sister here for a basic mani and pedi to spend time together before my baby shower. The staff were very nice, no complaints there at all. However, I think they thin down their polish too much because mine and my sister-in-law's sister's nails were shot by the 2nd day. We both had to repaint them before my shower. It was disappointing since it cost us $100 each after tip. I probably won't go there again for a while because it was such a disappointment.Services: Pedicure

I went in for a hi lights and cut.I haven't been this happy in years with my hair! Sandy listened and did exactly what I asked for!! Bonus she's the sweetest!!I made my next appointment before I left!

Sydney is a Rockstar! I had previously dyed my hair purple months before I found her. I was ready for a change but was worried that the dye had permanently stained my hair. She was able to get the pigment out and got me back to the platinum blonde that I wanted for my wedding. She will also be doing my style for that, which I'm sure she will knock out of the park!
