I bought this car 6 months ago and it's been nothing but a nightmare since I bought it and we probably already put over $3,000 and it is broke down again?

Don't trust this Randy guy. Sold me a Jeep for $2400. Sold "as is" - he really kept reminding me of this, which should have been enough to scare me off - but all the while he kept assuring me there was nothing mechanically wrong with it. I didn't get 2000 miles out of that Jeep before the engine blew up on me. Don't trust this guy.

Randy helped us find an older car that we could pay cash for, drove it around a few months to check for any problems, and calls and checks on us and the vehicle, changes the oil, checks the car, etc. We will definitely be getting our next vehicle from Randy and appreciate his upfront candor and honesty. Good, good man!

I originally learned of Lake Country Auto off of a Facebook Group, Cheboygan Buy Sell and Trade. Randy's wife was posting pictures of available vehicles. Ironic thing was that I had recently just been involved in a accident where our 2nd vehicle was totaled. My husband and I were looking for a vehicle to replace the one we had lost and I asked for information on one of the ones that were posted online. We went and looked at it and it ended up not being our cup of tea. But a few days later Randy contacted us and said he had another vehicle, one with high miles, that he was going to sell. And that if we would like to stop by we may be interested. Well personally, we have great experience with high mileage vehicles. So we tool the gamble and took a look. Long story short we ended up buying the vehicle and we are super happy we did. It has has it's flaws, it's not a perfect used car, but what used ride is ? Especially one with higher miles ... But Randy was honest, we performed a Carfax report on the vehicle, before we purchased it, and learned some interested facts. But would we go back ? Yes, if we needed another vehicle in a hurry. Again, Randy was great ... No problem with our sale ... We were super happy ...

Bought a vehicle from Randy Enos at Lake Country Auto in Sept. 2013. Started having problems with it within two weeks after purchase. Brought it back twice, second time, we said there's something wrong, get it checked out. We found out it was losing oil though the motor, bad deal. We said we wanted a new motor put in. That didn't happen, He couldn't decide what he wanted to do. He kept asking well what do you want me to do? PUT A NEW MOTOR IN. we said! Randy dragged his feet for weeks, We said that we would even take a different vehicle worth the same price, so he tried to sell us something off his lot. He didn't have anything we wanted, we didn't want to just settle for just anything. We said find us something like we had, even found vehicles on line, he just wouldn't do anything. It has been a stressful, nightmare. He cost us money, Time and our sanity. It just ended, well sort of. I.m still trying to get our Sale Tax back, which he said was our problem. He finally payed the bank back, but wouldn't go out of his way, to drive to Indian River from Cheboygan, to pay the bank and pick up the Title. He was rude to us and the our loan officer. Definitely not a person you can trust, he was more concerned for his bottom line then his customers. If he had just put a new motor in the vehicle, this would be a positive review rather the a negative one.

Do not buy a vehicle here. Within 4 months of buying my vehicle, the four-wheel drive went out for an unknown reason, and the body, which was in excellent condition upon purchase (so I thought), is now full of rust holes and bubbles (despite regular washing through the winter months) from what I have been told is a poor body repair job. I set out to buy a four-wheel drive to make winters in Northern Michigan easier, and my rather expensive vehicle has been all but rendered useless for that purpose. I understand that used vehicles do deteriorate with time, but not in the extremely rapid time frame from time of purchase until now that I have witnessed in mine.
