I love this salon. Everyone is friendly and kind, but I have to give a shout out to Chelsea
Chelsea is amazing. I have seen her a few times now. The first time was for a hair cut correction and I’ve seen her twice now for color.
She is so friendly and puts you at ease as soon as you sit in her chair. I’ve never been one to put too much thought into my hair and let the stylist do what they want. Today I wanted a fun and funky change, and boy did this color job exceed every expectation I had!
Chelsea gives an amazing haircut but she truly has an eye for color. If you let her play she can put together a look that is uniquely you. If I could give 10 stars I would. But don’t trust me, just look at the pictures!

I’ve been here for a few massages which have all been great. I wanted to make TZ my regular massage therapist…but the way she acts like she’s never seen me before is a turn off. I suggest a more personalized experience. One time it was time for me to cash out and she walked away from the register and I had to wait for someone else to cash me out. Another appointment I sat and waited only to find out she was on the other side of the salon curling her hair. More personalization would keep me as a regular but for now I must keep looking…

Annika always makes me feel like myself again! She works with me to achieve exactly what I want every time while maintaining the health of my hair. She also makes the whole experience inviting, she’s so friendly. I love her and my hair!

Chelsea is an absolute doll with a quirky and fun sense of humor. After meeting her I instantly felt comfortable letting her work with my hair. And ladies… she made me feel so beautiful and confident prior to a very important meeting. She is a legit hair sorceress! And my loose waves are still holding after 12 hours! Thank you Chelsea!

So as I am looking for a place to get my hair dyed here in cheboygan.... and mind you I just moved back last year. And yes I have used them in the past. A long time ago. I looked into ITS ABOUT YOU SALON AND SPA here in cheboygan. Since I have used them prior...I just want my hair dyed right?!. I have not dyed my hair in over 3 years. I dyed it red/auburn in end of 2017. So all the color is gone and I just got a hair cut. Iv actually had multiple hair cuts since. Well they asked if I have dye in it and of course I didnt, it's been years.... well they want to charge more because they say from a picture I took and sent of my hair to them that I do have dye in my hair.?!! Uhmm no that is impossible. I think people should be aware. I havent had my hair dyed in over 3 years. 100$ an hour is ridiculous. Takes like 3 to 4 hours. That will be a total of 400$ they are the ONLY salon that gave me a quote like that. For a hair dye job. Attached is the pic I have sent not only to them but all the salons. They are the ONLY ones who are saying this. They did not offer me a free strand test nor say well you can come in for a consult so we can see your hair better and give you a better quote ect. Instead I had an employee message me in my PM and say delete your review or you will be deleted and blocked and continue to say I am rude and ungreatful and how we all know I am so perfect ect..... so that was cool and very professional right?! Instead of trying to get my buisness sgain in any way I felt attacked and for something that is not true. Telling me that I have dye in my hair. Impossible. Also being straight up rude to me. Just my own personal review/experiance and opinion. ?♀️ One of their clients also told me they got a balayage[ took 4 hours] and a hair cut done there and only got charged $140. Now how is that fair?!?! Yeah no it's not! Very inconsistent and unprofessional.

My son got his hair cut today and it was a great experience! Can't exactly remember the name of the younger girl who cut his hair maybe annika? but it looked amazing! And he kept telling me "mom those girls were all so kind!" Thanks so much ?

I have had the best experiences at this salon! Steph has done an amazing job transforming & maintaining my hair. Kasha, the owner, is amazing too. All of the staff is friendly & fun. I have seen countless clients leave so happy with their hair & salon services. I highly recommend this salon & Steph for excellent color & cut skills.

I asked for a blunt haircut. I wanted it to be about an inch below my chin or at shortest chin length. I left with hair that was above chin length and not straight or even. It gets shorter as it goes towards my face. Which I have not seen done in a bob before nor is that what I wanted. I am very disappointed with my haircut experience. However the staff and establishment was nice.
