The crew in the service department did a fine job recently on our Explorer. We've been in one time before for other service and they did a nice job then, too. I would definitely recommend them for their service department.

Scheduling was great, got in right away, just for routine maintenance. Comfortable waiting room. Job done quickly. Everyone and everything very efficient.

We were in an accident while driving to our property up north. All of the air bags went off and there was significant damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle. Unfortunately we were four hours from home and did not have many options to choose from for the repairs. I chose Fernelius over a local body shop because I assumed they would do a great job since they carry the Ford name. I was wrong. Our accident happened on June 27. The car was confirmed to be in Fernelius Ford's possession on June 29. The first call I received with an update said that it would take a few weeks. This was fine. It's what I expected. A few weeks passed and I had not received any updates. I called and again was told that it would be a few weeks. A few weeks passed, I called again and was told that everything was out of the paint booth and they found one more thing they needed to fix so it would be another couple of weeks. This went on for two months. My main gripe is that I wasn't getting updates unless I called. I've had body work done on a car years ago and they updated me once a week. I understand that parts take a while to come in, etc. but two full months is ridiculous. I work in the service industry and if we tell a client something will be done by a certain day we either have it done or we call them the second we know we're going to miss the deadline. There is nothing worse than not being updated. When we arrived to pick up the car everything appeared to be great. The employees of the collision shop were very friendly. No issue there. The man at the service desk was rude and appeared to be annoyed by our presence. We had originally gone here because we thought it was where we needed to be. There were a few scratches on the driver side that were absolutely not there prior to the accident but I can look past that. I drove away and about 30 minutes into my drive I decided to pull down my visor. It immediately fell off. I decided to try the passenger visor. It also fell off. We had to go back. They fixed it but they acted like it was no big deal. This incident alone made me lose confidence in the work they did. As I was further along on my drive home I began to notice other things. One being that the passenger seat belt was missing it's cover (minor-- I can order a new one but I shouldn't have to) and another being that the hood of my car was not aligned properly so it was catching wind and shaking on the freeway. Overall, I would not recommend Fernelius for collision work. If you're in an accident in this area I would recommend shelling out the cost of having your car towed closer to home to be repaired.

I am so grateful to Fernelius Ford! They made a terrible situation into a great one! I won't go into particulars but believe me they were great! All the staff were so helpful and caring! I want to thank Justin,Joe and Jordan for making my new truck happen! Thank you everyone!!
