It was a "10 out of 5" but... Seems some corporate stuff going on? So Dr. Ruiz, The Cat Wizard and former owner, "retired" Wed , Oct. 16, 2024. Techs Venus and Bernie also left. The remaining Techs, Denae, Hailey and Savannah are wonderful. However, due to their constantly raising prices for same products and, sometimes, less services, I've taken my last two kitties elsewhere. And, I cannot speak for the new Vet as I have no experience with her.

Brought my Lucy here for the second time and they’re always so great with her. Dr. Larsen is great and came up with many solutions for Lucy. I would consider this office fair priced also.

I cannot thank The Kitty Clinic of Clinton Township and Dr. Larsen enough for the incredible care and compassion they provide me and my fur- babies.
My eldest cat/son has had some very pressing gastric issues. They have been getting worse over the years and it cumulated in a very scary spring. I took him to see Dr. Larsen and long story short, months later, he is doing incredible and back to his old self! The team also did amazing at comforting my nervous younger cat when he came in for his check- up.
Dr. Larsen and the team truly love cats. Thank you, thank you!!

I adopted my first kitty from Kitty Clinic over 25 years ago. My second , about 6 years later, was adopted from a friend’s “here again gone again” barn cat. Both lived past 17 years old and both were cared for here with Dr. Ruiz at The Kitty Clinic. Just recently I independently adopted through an agency a 3 year old in a rehoming situation. It took me 9 years to decide to adopt again after having my last 18 year old sweetheart sent to heaven. Unfortunately this new little cutie pie decided that it was just fine to urinate half in and half outside of his kitty litter box. Something I never had experienced with my first two. I was so pleased to find that Dr Ruiz was still seeing patients as she was my other cats’ only veterinarian over their many many years. And, I was able to get a prompt appointment for our new addition, Little Buddy(LB). LB was found healthy but possibly experiencing some anxiety as well as in need of some updating to his litter set up being this was not a behavior for him. After adopting LB and PRIOR to seeing Dr Ruiz I found out that this was a carry over from his previous home :( I have been sent home with a medication for his anxiety and a few tweaks to his litter area : JUMBO way oversized litter box, cat attract added to the litter, adding a third litter box, protecting the floor with plastic sheeting and placing some strategic lighting to his area making his bathroom set up one he is not afraid in and one wants to be in. So far so good. I can’t tell you how amazing it is to come into this office. LB was taken for his urine specimen gently picked up and wrapped in a warm pheromone infused towel. Upon his return he was then given some whipped cream and lickable treats on a plate. Literally treated like a King! If you are seeking a veterinarian go no further. When you come here it is all about your littie buddy.

I called ahead to see how much it would cost for my two adopted cats 2nd part shot and was told $90. When I got there they charged me an additional $150 on top of it and said it was for an exam. All she did was listen to their heart, not to mention that they were there 11 days prior for the 1st shot. I won't go back. They were rude and said "it's expensive to be a responsible cat owner ".

Today was my cats first visit here, I called this morning and they were able to squeeze us in! We went back to the room immediately and were out within 45 minutes, all the workers were very friendly and doc was super gentle with my new fur baby. We will definitely be coming back and so happy we found this clinic!

I just called because I'd the great reviews. I was talking when the young lady either hung up on me, or we were disconnected.
Either way, when she answered they phone it didn't sound pleasant or inviting at all. Seems she's doesn't like her job maybe?
This is actually the second place I've called, so maybe third is the best? Hoping so.
It's just really sad what CUSTOMER SERVICE we don't receive anymore.

We recently moved to Sterling Heights and have been loving our new vet here! It’s so nice to go to an all cat clinic and you can tell the staff really cares about your animals.

I took my cat here last week due to her eyes being very watery and assumed she was blind. Our appointment was at 11am and I was on time for our appointment only to wait 45 minutes in the waiting area before being called back. I was not told that they were running behind or assured I would be seen soon - just left there to wait. We waited another 5-10 minutes in the room before being seen. All Dr. Larson (I believe her name is) did was ask a few questions and shine a light in her eyes. My cat was 12 years old, so they explained that it could be some sort of kidney disease and high blood pressure. They kept stressing blood work for $200 and giving me no other options. They tried to take her blood pressure but my cat (like most) didn’t want to be touched by a stranger and after one slight attempt, they didn’t try to do anything. They didn’t test anything. Just looked at her and shined a light in her eyes.
My cat passed away a week later due to kidney failure. My baby is gone and this clinic didn’t try hard enough to see what was wrong with her. When I called to speak to them, the lady on the phone just kept saying she was sorry, and I know it wasn’t her fault, and said she would let HR know. What HR? You’re a small clinic and they won’t do anything for me anyway - doubt I’ll even hear back.
I would think twice about coming here. I’m sure other people have had good experiences, but not me. I’ll forever wonder what I did wrong as a cat momma.
Update: I did in fact hear back and I wasn’t thrilled about how the conversation with. I want to clarify I KNOW it isn’t their fault - you have to do testing to see anything internal. My point was very clear: if someone cannot afford to do a certain test, talk about other options which they did not do. The lady I spoke to when called almost sounded frustrated that I was upset? The Kitty Clinic did send me a card in the mail to express their compassion for my baby passing which I do appreciate.

called to ask the clinic a question about working with advertisements and the front desk hung up on me. Then when I call back and asked for an office manager they said they didn't have no such thing. she passed it along to someone else and they came up with an excuse saying that their phones are always hanging up on people. And they're extremely busy so she didn't mean to hang up on me. if they're that rude over the phone, I wonder how they are in person.

I recently visited The Kitty Clinic with my cat, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, making both my cats and me feel at ease.
Dr. Larson and the veterinary team were amazing. They took the time to explain everything in detail and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. My cat received excellent care, and I could tell they genuinely cared about his well-being.
The clinic also has a great range of products and services, making it a one-stop shop for all my cat's needs. I highly recommend The Kitty Clinic to any cat owner looking for top-notch veterinary care. Thank you, Kitty Clinic, for taking such good care of my fur babies.

They are a smaller clinic but they are the best around! My cat has been dealing with some high anxiety with his vet visits as of late and they're so patient and careful with him! They truly care about their patients and the pet parent's peace of mind. Please be patient with the staff also! They will always make sure your cat is taken care of and will never do any tests or procedures that are unnecessary. I can't recommend them enough! So grateful to have found this place and for the doctors and vet techs that work there!
