It’s unacceptable that the phone is never answered and how slow orders are fulfilled.

The bookstore is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a class. The store is huge! The downsides are that there is only one register usually and the card reader never works so, it's time consuming and the parking, especially when busy and bad weather, is very inconvenient. There are only 3-4 parking spaces in front, with a few handicap parking spaces. If those are filled, you have to go to the next parking lot and walk. If you've ordered a lot of stuff or it's raining, it's a pain in the butt. But, the staff there are nice and try to be helpful. With a little patience, open parking, and an off-peak hour visit, you can be in and out in under 10 minutes.

I walked in asking if they could order books for my university center classes at Ferris, and they told me they can't.I went on the Efollet website and they were available for customer pickup with an online order. I pay thousands of dollars a semester in books and receive nothing but lies. (Yes, I pay CASH. Money I worked for.)Poor business, I would give zero stars if I could.

For graduating in 2018, I am still in college. My first 2 years out of high school I attended macomb community college. I didn't love it at first but that wasn't because of the professors, it wasn't because of the cost, it wasn't because of the people, it had nothing to do with any of that at the end of the day. It was mostly because I didn't have a plan, I didn't know what field I wanted to get into. I came here and took the "required classes" that most universities want you to take so you can get in their doors. I'm a strong supporter for community colleges. I recommend them unless you absolutely know what you want to do and you absolutely need a bachelors degree or higher for it. I find myself after transferring twice to 2 different Universities thinking about coming back to this one. My favorite memories in a classroom setting have been at Macomb and I will never regret going. The people are nice, the staff is readily available and eager to help, and they offer lots of certificates that can get you in the door to many different careers if you don't have the money or time to earn an associates. I wish I went right for one of my passions when I went here instead of all the general education requirements. The whole point to this review is to say that macomb community college is a great place to start your new path at any time. Go for your passion and find something you're good at here because there might be something especially if you weren't looking to spend $20,000+ on schooling. The ultimate satisfaction is loving your job and excelling in it for me and it doesn't have to cost so much money and it shouldn't to accomplish that. MCC is a great place to start over again or just start in general. Go for what you love and if you don't know what you love there is a program to finding that.

The parking for this place first and foremost is deplorable. I've been here several times and everyone that is willing to help seems to need help themselves. I will definitely pay for shipping in the future.
