Terrible communication. An absolute struggle to get any support or questions answered. For the money they charge you deserve far better. I tried to contact a district manager, but it seems they have better things to do. HR Block has lost a customer, which is a good thing for me, I’ll save some money.

Had my taxes prepared at a different office. Few weeks later get a letter from the IRS stating that I paid to much, took my information into this H&R block for review, as mine is closed for the season. Gave paperwork to Jerri to look over, 1 week goes by and no contact from the office, tried to call multiple times, still no answer and no return call from voicemails that were left. Finally get a hold of customer service, who escalated this to the next level. Finally get a call back and I am told that the paperwork hasn't even been touched. Jerri says give me a bit to look it over and she will call back. When she calls back she explains that being told my tax responsibility was to much does not qualify for the Guarantee as what is being refunded by the IRS is penalties that would only be charged if I don't pay on time.....I paid the taxes well before the due date of April 15th. So if your expecting correct taxes to be done and someone to stand behind their guarantee, I would suggest you look elsewhere.

Laura is the best H&R block tax agent in all my years using H&R Block. She's at the North Pointe location in Clinton Township MI and she is so knowledgeable, accurate and customer service oriented! She's why we come back year after year!!

Had a terrible experience was there for an hour and a half just for the lady to not prepare my return properly and then she couldn’t get back in her computer went to liberty tax not only was it done in a half hour, but they got me triple the amount of money in my return, do not recommend H&RBlock!!!

H&R Block Clinton Twp Garfieldwhile they do a great job doing our taxes, when our tax preparer said send your son in and I will do his, I expected it to cost him the same as online and they charge him $214!!! as a 24 year old student this is outrageous. They did not tell him upfront what the cost would be. That is the same price my husband and I paid four ours!
