Worst customer service for any rental car company I have ever dealt with. I book a car on line and go to pick it and they say they don’t have cars. Now I’m stuck with nothing and it’s basically after hours. The lady at the desk was rude and not even dressed professionally. Will never deal with them again

Showed up for a confirmed 1pm rental to find out that a.) there were no cars available that day even though I had a confirmed reservation, and that b.) they were "sorry about my luck". What a wild customer service experience and a waste of my time.

When you’re renting a car, you rely on a rental company to help solve your problems. With Hertz, YOU are their problem. Everyone I talked to had a poor attitude from the people at the front desk to roadside assistance, and everyone was extremely unhelpful. I work in customer service, so I know how it is, but there was zero concern for me or my situation when the car they gave me was malfunctioning. I was left without a car for four days and had to hound them for several days to get a replacement. When I was finally done with the new rental, they charged my card over $300 and wouldn’t explain why or give me a receipt. I made sure the car was clean and the tank was full, so there should be no reason I was charged so much. I was forced to do their job tracking down a tow truck, calling roadside assistance, and calling billing. I will not be returning to Hertz and I will be telling everyone I know not to go here.

Outside of car was covered with mud when I picked it up. Passenger side windshield wiper was bad when I reported it they said Firestone would contact me to fix it they never did turned out I was supposed to go to the Firestone to get it fixed so poor communication on their part otherwise low price average service.

I’ve had to rent from this location twice now and I’ve shears had a great experience. I normally book in the app the day before and when I arrive they have my car waiting for me and the staff has already taking pictures of the vehicle to include. Everyone I’ve talked to has been extremely nice and I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than ten minutes. Nobody ever tries to hard sell the add one, which I like. I would recommend this location.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The lady that I dealt with when I picked the car up failed to explain to me the options and forced me into running a hard inquiry on my credit report. I’ve never had to do that on any other car rental before. Online it said there would be a $200 hold, which is understandable, when we got there, the lady told us it was $500 and never offered any other options. The lady was extremely rude and very unprofessional. Hertz is playing a game of transferring me from person to person and eventually hanging up or saying someone will call back and they never do. Go elsewhere for rental cars! What a scam.

I would never speak down on a company even though I had a bad experience. I would want to see all my customers happy and satisfied. They have did their due diligence after the fact, I really appreciate them for trying to solve the problem. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family plus acquaintances

Thieves. Enterprise is just down the street, use them instead.They added bogus charges to my bill and when I tried to have them remove it, I was told I had to go to corporate. Going to corporate resulted in a bunch of "X person will reach out to you." Nobody ever did. I was given the run around everywhere.Also, Hertz in general has reported their own cars stolen and had people wrongfully arrested and imprisoned. The entire corporation is rotten, it's not just this branch that is spoiled.Do not ruin your week, just go to Enterprise instead.

Pretty sure whoever runs this location needs to start drug testing their employees. Rented a car, dropped it off, no issues. Checking my statement yesterday, my rental that was supposed to be about $350 was $850.Called up very confused and they informed me I was charged $400 for exterior washing for the car being "filthy." You can repaint a whole car for $400.... these people are nuts.Luckily, I had my car wash receipt from that day, as I had washed it prior to dropping it off. Corporate refunded the $400 but stay away from this scam place. They're clearly trying to rip people off.

Got my car yesterday and have a low tire pressure indication, I stopped at the hall road location, with no notice they are closed and won't open till noon!!

Not only did they take care of my situation with efficiency and professionalism but they were there each time to ensure that I was taking care of even as far as extending my rent a car through my insurance company Danye was very nice.

My Sister rented at Ferndale, they made a mistake and didn't add our AAA, so when we stopped to add myself as an additional driver the mistake was found by Jeff at this location.When we called Ferndale to make the correction thr customer service was horrid. Thank goodness for Jeffrey, he reached out and got everything in order for us ?! He is AWESOME!!

Had an appointment to pickup a car today, scheduled weeks ago while my car gets body work done. Show up only to hear that there are no cars available. I understand that some things are beyond the local agents control. But you need to reach out to customers, especially with appointments/reservations if they can’t fulfill it. Just go to Enterprise!

Pretty easy to get in and out. I booked through Priceline. Got a good rate. If you use a debit card just know that there is a $500 hold placed on it, even if you prepaid through an App
