Excellent customer service. Just don’t go to the one on Jefferson in Detroit. They are always out of something. It’s ghetto customer service and many vagabonds come in that smell.

What's the first time I've been in Gordon foods since they remodeled us on Gratiot. I usually go to the one in Utica and Hall road and thoroughly like Gordon food service. Food products started going there when I was working at restaurants and felt like a hidden gem. Always getting restaurant quality stuff. This one on Gratiot had a nice deli. Had a popcorn station that had tons of flavor kind of popcorn. I still haven't tried it yet to know it's good, but it was just a nice atmosphere inside the scoring foods.

Ordered online, gave me a pickup time of 2 hours. I arrived, the order had not been started. I inquired, the GFS employee said, “We were busy”. I’ve had this happen with 3 consecutive orders. I’ve joined BJ’s and am done with GFS.

I love shopping at Gordon's! I have never been disappointed with anything I have purchased there. The steaks are delicious and much better than I even expected them to be. It's usually not too busy there so you can get in and out quickly if need be. Their prices are great for the most part. Keep an eye on the smaller items that you can usually find at your local grocery store. A very good percentage of those products are over priced. Even with that being said, I would still recommend them to absolutely anyone. It's a great place to shop. You will find items that you can't find at a grocery store and at a very good price as well. Sure they do have some items that I personally don't care for, however certainly much fewer items than most places. Everything that I do like and purchase is always of exceptional quality. I don't want to forget to mention that it is the only place I can actually find breaded veal patties. I do have to go to another location to get them. Not all Gordon's carry them. If you have never been to Gordon Food Service I definitely recommend that you go inside and take a look around the next time you are near one. Even if you don't plan to purchase anything. See what they have. You will want to come back!
