I am an employee here and this store has been wonderful beside the guest that come In here and steal we provide great service and help who ever need help out we have almost anything you need and for a great price but I can't tell you how many people hide and open stuff in the isle and throw it somewhere like in the freezer behind the food is crazy or parented to shop just to steal the walk out the store and leave everything but you post are store up like we not doing are Job and if we get to strict then we doing to much

DONT WORK HERE THE MANAGER TRIED TO STEAL MY IDENTITY (I have all proof if anybody wants to see).I started working here on April 12th 2023 everything went well but I should have known Somthing was up when he hired me on the spot and barley even interviewed me and didn’t ask me those important interview questions that they usually ask you. Fast forward everything was going well they were a tight establishment good management and everything I really enjoyed this Job even though they paid very little but it paid my bills. Anyways the last day I worked there it was a day before my birthday and a week prior I told one of the assistant managers that I’ll be taking 3 days off for vacation and he said that’ll be ok …..so I thought…backstory one day the owner came in and had a meeting with all the managers to talk about the main managers just before I went on vacation I didn’t talk to the owner because I have not been there for too long I don’t really know anything about him (Mario) anyways they get out the meeting and they start gossiping on how he was stealing money etc which was surprising but unsurprising because everyday he would come in late not of importance but anyways I always thought it was weird on how he was pushing us to sell candy bars and we get not extra compensation or anything he promised us that we would get a steak dinner if we sold a certain amount of candy bars and guess what we did he told us that we sold the most candy out of all the family dollars in our vicinity anyways we never got that steak dinner that’s when the owner came in and told all the managers. Anyways let’s get back to my story and how he almost stole my identity. Anyways I went in vacation I took my days off.i came back on a Monday and the next time I was scheduled to come back in was on a Wednesday so I went in as usual . As I was clocking in Mario was was so surprised to see me and he said verbatim “I didn’t know you were coming in i thought you quit “and as I’m talking to him I was trying to clock in I was putting in my PIN number and it kept saying it was invalid and that’s when I was like can you help me and then he said I deleted your pin because I thought you quit and I was like “why would I quit I was on vacation “ and it was odd because I made sure I took my days off with the assistant and I showed him and he said ok “I have to wait for the owner to get authorization to give you a new pin “so he sent me home. So I went home and didn’t think of anything fast forward two weeks I text him and ask what’s the update and he never texted back so after a couple day I went up their and asked him what’s going on and he acted like I was crazy and I quit my job when I just was on vacation and I can have someone attest to that because I brung my boyfriend and my sister up there so he acted like I was crazy and said I quit and said I can’t have my job back.so I said whatever I wasn’t tripping because I was going to college in about a month fast forward it’s October and I’m in college now and I get a text from my sister and she opened my mail and they sent me a letter and the letter was from the government saying that my identity was almost stolen from MARIO CROSSLEY at dollar tree company’s and family dollar is owned by dollar tree and it said he tried to use my name and my social security and everything under the sun to steal my identity thankfully he couldn’t cross a certain line long story short…DONT WORK HERE.MARIO IS A SCAMMER,HES A HORRIBLE BOSS AND HE TRIED TO STEAL MY IDENTITY

This is the most convenient family dollar by me. It’s typically cluttered with boxes and slightly unorganized but it’s gotten a lot better since they hired new people sometime this past year. Employees aren’t rude and are helpful.

The new staff seems to close the doors before 10pm which is beyond ghetto when your hours are from 8am to 10pm. The staff comes to work in pjs hair not comb no good customer service at All!Question is are you open until 915 or 10pm this is a bad look for Clinton twp you hired the wrong people they belong more so at your 7 gratiot location. Hoping to see a change within the next week

I would give this store zero stars. Employees are rude. I say good morning and they just stand there. Notorious for never opening on time. 3 weeks in a row I went every morning at 8am and they not only answer when I knocked at the door they walked right by. Store hours ate posted for 8am. I have seen them not open till 830am and even 9am whenever they want. When I go in later in the day they make excuses that midnight didn't close right or they had no money. They still could have opened and only had credit available. Poor management poor staff. Don't advise anyone going there ever and they should shut this store down.
