The manager at the Charlotte branch, Elena was amazing! I was running into so many roadblocks dealing with the death of my mother. She walked me through what was needed for an account I was trying to open. She handled it quickly and got me the needed information and set it up for me. I was very happy I used independent bank for my banking needs!

I’ve had no problems at this branch or with Independent Bank at all for my small business. The website works great online and the branch is open with multiple tellers and I’ve never had a problem taking out money, depositing money, or getting change.

I wish I could leave zero stars. Costs $5 to use the ATM. Five people working (really just eating) and zero helping customers. I learned all about one of them being upset for spending $13 on a burger that didn't come with fries. At least she got something tangible for her money? Highly DO NOT recommend.

Love this bank! Outstanding customer service! All staff is courteous and friendly. Will definitely continue doing business here. Highly recommend if you are looking for a bank with a down home feel and exceptional service.

Waited in line for 5 minutes. Watching Tony hawkman a bank teller cough/hack on her hand with all the money she was giving out. If you got COVID it's probably from this place. I was disgusting and when I ask to exchange bills. She said I had to have an account so I asked if I can make an account and she/bank teller let out a big sigh like it was a big deal that I wanted to open account. This place is rude and disgusting. I would never go here again

Independent Bank is a joke! Used to have good customer service and actually seemed to care about your customers, now all your about is being greedy and charging fee's and making sure that you make it as difficult and arduous to do what should otherwise be seemingly easy tasks. You are by far the most worthless and useless financial institution and have nothing good to say, both personally and professionally Independent Bank has shown time and again how much of a failure a bank can be. Not that I expect them to read this, but should someone at IB actually take the time to read this, I hope you realize how much a failure you have been to not just me but to many people, after you switched to this new system. Never even really informed me about how the changes were going to affect me (and other customers). Best advice stay away from them!

We loved the potterville branch but the charlotte one is horrible. After 10 years of banking with them we are switching.
