Bizzare woman owns this store. She loves to ramble about right wing politics unprovoked. There's this extremely racist African American maid doll in the corner of the store. Felt super uncomfortable and left, never coming back. The Google maps page says LGBTQ+ friendly but this is absolutely not true.

This store is packed! Not a place to bring children. But your Inner Child will love the joy of shopping here. Prices are a bit high for your average person, but it is priced for the type of style of things they carry.
I want to say that the merchandising display person did an excellent job! I dug the creativity put forth❣️
I recommend a visit. And yes, I will be back.

This store is full of treasures throughout. It is a small store, so I understand that limits how many people, etc. can be in it. But I really love the quality of the merchandise!!!

Extremely cute collection of clothing and accessories. The owner (I am making an assumption that she is the owner as she is in there almost every time I go in ) is an absolute sweetheart who is always willing to help. The customer service is amazing and they will ensure that you feel like a million bucks in their clothing.

I have been a summer/fall patron of this store for over 20 years. Today I witnessed the death of Charlevoix. I walked into the store, a rack of clothing was in the aisle...I worked my way around it, eager to shop in one of my favorite establishments. I was not greeted by either employee but was admonished to stay to the opposite side of the aisle, limiting me to about one half of the store. No one offered me or my husband help in finding merchandise ..we were ignored. Not even when we left was there a goodbye or thank you for visiting the store. So very sad. Quel damage, the store is dead.

I can't believe I never went inside Maison & Jardin Boutique until now. The moment I stepped through the doors I fell in love with the whole place. It's like taking a trip to France, handmade sponge goat soap from Provence, coffee scented candles that make you want to sip on a cafe au lait, beautiful floral hair clips from France, all kinds of unique accessories and lovely clothing...and the owner is delightful. I can now get my French fixation at Maison & Jardin Boutique, an absolute treasure in beautiful Charlevoix. C'est Magnifique!

Not very welcoming and the saleswoman was walking around the store loudly complaining that the country was all going to hell because of the dam Democrats. These democrats left with our money still in our wallets. We won’t return.

They were rude and made us feel like we were not wanted in the store. So we spent our money elsewhere.

I’ve been shopping in Charlevoix since I was a little kid and I have LOVED this store for years. It has a great selection of clothing and cute accent pieces everywhere (maybe not the lawn jockey holding baby clothes... not something I expected to see and it did make me uncomfortable). My issue with the store is that they appear to be removing the brand labels from some of their clothing which is so frustrating because 1) I would love to find similar clothes from the same brand sometimes 2) there’s no longer any wash instructions on the clothes 3) it’s annoying getting scratched by the remaining pieces of the obviously cut tag 4) it’s just weird.Again, they have great clothing— very well curated to fit their French aesthetic, but it just left such a weird feeling when I realized almost everything I tried on had tags that had been cut off.
