Over the years I have purchased 11 cars from Ralph at Charlevoix Motors. I have also referred friend there know that Ralph goes through the cars and fixes mechanical issues before putting the car on the lot. I have also seen him help pay for issues that occurred months after a purchase that were not his responsibility. Straight shooter and honest!

He sold me a car that’s Kelley blue book value was around $7,000 for near $14,000 and the check engine light came on less than a week from purchase. I tried to return it and he just kept saying I’m not in the business of buying back cars. Wish I hadn’t shopped here.

Place is terrible. Never told car was in accident prior. They threw spray paint on the roof and spoiler and it peeled up six months later. Never prepped it. Yea cars from Florida and they temporarily covered up the rust and sun damage and told me the previous owners kept it covered at all times...which was a lie. Florida has terrible humidity all day all night, rains alot and sun does alot of uv damage. Engine bay was pitted by humidity but outside looked ok so I looked past that. Why someone would be advertising Florida owned car is beyond me. Way better states to buy from with less environmental damage. So now whole car is falling apart now eight months later. Water started leaking into the car from roof, had to silicone it. Found out from shops they put it third party parts just to sell it running. When I say third party I mean not OEM by Honda parts. They put old motor mounts in had to pay 650 to replace all, six months into ownership. They covered the fading clear coat with a wax. Came off fee washes later and then started showing extent of the clear coat damage. transmission is starting to thud hard since changing fluid. So was never done before and now the new fluid is causing it problems.He keeps saying he was willing to show a Carfax but that is a lie I asked maintenance history and he told me he had no idea and I could buy one off carfax. His mechanic never was there either for a week. Just happened to be on vacation. Never got back to me to let me know. Was told he would call when he got back. just tried to bribe me 100 bucks to take this down. I said no thanks people need to know the truth. Have a mechanic really go over it with you present. Mistake made and learned. Wont buy a car from them again but he did made the buying process easy that's a about it though.

An honest dealership with outstanding used vehicles. I bought a Jeep Liberty in excellent condition. They put new tires on it and fixed the back window as soon as they got in the part. They took care of registration and even installed my license plate. Outstanding customer service!

I just bought my 4th car from Ralph, the first in the late 80's and my 4th 2 weeks ago.. He always works with you to get a fare deal. I'm sure I'll be back to by another one day..my daughter bought one too..Great local car dealer.

Ralph at Charlevoix Motors runs an honest and fair business that really cares about customer satisfaction. My mom bought a 2003 Rav4 from Charlevoix Motors in January 2021. The car had low miles for its age and was a Florida owned car with no rust. After a couple months the car started having issues and at about five months the car required a new transmission. The local shop my mom took it to spent a month to find a replacement transmission and quoted the fix to be $5,000 to $7,000. At this point it had been six months and 6000 miles since the original purchase. I called and discussed the issues with Ralph, understanding that he had no obligation to the car. Ralph was shocked to find out about the issues and quickly offered to help. He found a used transmission with less miles and for half the cost the shop quoted. He also recommended a different shop which saved my mom another $1,000. Finally, he offered to help offset some of the expense from the repair. Ralph and Charlevoix Motors proved that there are still honest used car dealers who truly care about the quality of cars that they sell.

Ralph was extremely helpful to get me in a vehicle that worked for what I wanted. He did not try to up sell me or get me into any other agreement that I couldn't handle. I would recommend everyone go to him!

Very nice place, Ralph Rosenthal is very knowledgeable and has been doing this for a long time. Lots of car dealerships have come and go but he's still there selling used cars. And they're very dependable used cars.
