BEWARE: If I could give no stars I would. This location is a complete JOKE! Rented a minivan weeks in advance, showed up last Friday morning in the snowstorm only to find out they didn’t have a minivan, they didn’t have ANY CARS! No courtesy call the night before, nothing. Tried calling the location directly the evening before to confirm and the phone didn’t work. Called Hertz and they confirmed our minivan would be ready. The branch manager came out of her hole, wreaking of nasty cigarettes with death breath, giving us excuse after excuse. This location is complete trash! Do yourself a favor and just pick up at the airport. We were leaving town on a road trip and had to scramble to get another car. Luckily Enterprise in Eastpointe had an SUV to rent last minute.

I would normally not give a car rental 5 stars. Not alone going on at this place, but the service was outstanding. The gal (black) was extremely accommodating and helpful. She took time to check several inquiries I had and mentioned some food when over hearing our conversation. It's the details that matter.

I was concerned about the bad reviews but I picked up a car today and my experience was better than 10/10. Friendly, courtesy, quick. I have no complaints.

The customer service at this location is awesome.My experience was wonderful ?The manager & Assistant Manager were very CARING & informative on Hertz's Policies and other services they offer.I will definitely recommend this location to everyone!!!

Thank you Tanita for such a great experience. I was at a low point dealing with getting my vehicle fixed and having to rent a car at the same time. She made things worth while and helped me through it all. The staff was patient with me as well because lord knows I called at least 3 to 5 times a week to continue adding days to my rental. Thank you guys, you're very much appreciated.

The people who work here are AMAZING!! I hit some snags during my initial reservation and they walked me through and made sure I understood everything. I the next week when I went in to extend my reservation I was met with smiles and welcoming words. I will definitely be back.

I recently had a fantastic experience with Hertz car rental, and I must commend Bryan L. for his outstanding service. His attention to detail and friendly approach made the rental process smooth and enjoyable. Kudos to Bryan and the entire Hertz team for exceeding expectations!

I made an online reservation for the centerline location only to get there and find thy had no cars. Then I had to go 6miles down the street to the Sterling Heights location at 40490 Vandyke @ 18mi. They were very rude over the phone. I was given a vehicle that should not have qualified as a rental car, due to an appointment elsewhere I had to take it but I was assured I could come back tomorrow and switch it. However the location was closed 30min earlier than posted. The car smelled like cigars, Even had one stuck to the windshield, car had burn holes everywhere and clear evidence of fire damage. I had to drive All the way to the airport to get a new vehicle. Might I add I am a so-called Gold member. I will never rent here again.

This was the most AWFUL customer service experience I've ever had in my life.Reserve a car weeks or months in advance? They won't have it.Schedule pick up at a specific time? You won't get a car until HOURS later. (But if you drop off the car 1 hour late, you get charged for an entire day.)The district manager, Angela, was supposed to refund me for the 3 hours they didn't have my car available (Pick up time at 12, didn't get the car until 3, reserved 1 month in advance) and still has not refunded me.To make matters even worse, Eva and Brian were the most awful employees I've ever encountered. Unprofessional, rude, nasty, throwing tantrums like children and yelling at the customers. There are no words to fully express how awful the service is at this location and by these two awful employees.If you're looking for the worst car rental experience imaginable, beyond your worst nightmares, then Hertz Rentals in Centerline is definitely the place for you!But if you actually value your time, money, and sanity, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I made a reservation for a Tesla two weeks in a row and both times they never had my car and left me with no choices at all. This is the worst hertz you can ever rent from. And on top of that they charged me $70 for something I don’t even know what because both times they didn’t have my car!!!! Go to enterprise much better professional service.

Booked a reservation through their call center reservation system for a Friday pick up. I arrived at rental location and they told me they had no cars and would not have any until Monday. The reservation system has no clue as to what cars may be available. Speaking with the employee, it seems that this is a common occurrence and he seemed as frustrated as me. Terrible company and terrible service.
