I like that the cedar animal hospital has an exotic vet. They have treated many of my pet rats. They are always available for an emergency visit if needed.

Had to take our Border Collies in for urgent care a few times, the staff has always been very professional and knowledgeable. We were given multiple options for treatment and doctor was very patient to answer all of the questions and address our concerns.

Recently had to come to this vet due to complications with our Chameleon. Dr C and staff were super helpful in trying to get her better, taught us things to help her improve unfortunately she didn’t make it due to her being really sick.. but the love and support from all staff made it a little more comforting. 10/10 recommend them and will be transferring our dogs to them as well for future appointments!

Zero stars! My young adult daughter's cat suffered for 3 weeks because this clinic misdiagnosed her twice! We took our cat in to the Urgent Care because she developed a deep barky cough with sneezing and runny nose over the weekend and we didn't want to wait to have her seen and start treatment. They said she had an ear infection and started her on an injectable antibiotic (they take your pet out of the room to give this). They scheduled a 2 week follow up visit and told us to call them if her symptoms get worse or do not improve. Almost a week after that visit, there still were no changes in her condition and she was miserable, so I called to inform them and see if they could get her in sooner and I was told that their schedule was full unless I brought her in to Urgent Care again. I called our regular vet and scheduled an appointment with them because they were scheduling almost 2 weeks out and I wanted to make sure that she would be able to get in since I was not very impressed with the care she was receiving. I had called Cedar Animal Hospital again a few days later and asked them if they could add a steroid prescription for her and that whatever antibiotic they gave her was not enough and I was again told that she would need to be seen again to prescribe anything additional and that they don't usually give young cats steroids, it would be until Monday that a Doctor would be able to call us back regarding this unless we brought her back into Urgent Care. It really seemed to me that they didn't care if she was improving, they are hoping you will bring your pet back into Urgent Care to pay the higher prices. My daughter took her cat in for the 2 week follow up at Cedar Animal Hospital and they did nothing different, said that she still had an ear infection and gave her the injectable antibiotic (charged big $ for this visit too). My daughter had now paid well over $500 to this clinic and her cat was still very sick weeks later. Luckily, we were able to get the cat in to our regular vet a few days later since I had scheduled an appointment earlier just in case and she was immediately diagnosed with pneumonia, they took a chest xray (this was never an option given or even mentioned at Cedar Animal Hospital, they wanted to run expensive testing next). NO ear infection was present, they did an ear cytology also. Now only 2 days after her regular vet appt she is on the mend and is already feeling better and her cough is almost non existent. We will NEVER take our pets to this clinic or Urgent Care ever again. I think they were hosing my young daughter and trying to get multiple visits in for the $$$, not for the care of the pet. Extremely disappointing and cruel.

I had a great experience with this facility.
My 15 year old dog wasn't doing well. Why do these things happen when your own vet is closed?! I felt she probably needed to be put to sleep.
When I called, they assured me they could get her in within the hour, even though the doctor was heading in to surgery. Unfortunately, my dog passed before we got to the office. Alex(assuming receptionist)was very helpful and extremely sympathetic, when I called to let the office know what happened.
I want to thank the Doctor, who took time out of her busy schedule, and Alex who couldn't have been nicer.
If I need an emergency vet in the future, I won't hesitate to call this office again.

I've been coming to cedar animal hospital with my rats for almost 2 years now and I love our vet, Dr. Cervantes. We have had some really heartbreaking news with our girls recently, and having Dr Cervantes there to guide us on our options for care made the process of end of life care for our girls so much easier. I can't imagine how much worse the grief would be without her empathic care. It truly feels like she is a part of our pets family.

Had to bring my Shepherd in for an emergency appointment this past weekend. While Cedar isn’t our normal vet, I was very happy with how fast we were seen and the care and professionalism we received from the staff.

Updating since it won't let me leave a second review! I've been taking my dog to CAH for a few years now and always love the care and attention she gets. This weekend we had to make an emergency visit and it was one of the best I've had. We didn't wait for hours to be seen and everyone was wonderful! Thank you again to all the staff for being the best!

Called this morning at 8a.m. cause dog was up all night whimpering and panting. Wouldn't let us sleep. They couldn't get me into urgent care until 12:30p.m. I show up for my appointment 10 mi. Early at 12:20p.m. and sit in the exam room with my dog and kid until 1:25p.m. never seen a face. Went back out to the desk about 40min in and asked what was going on. Was told she was going to find out. Got no response after 20min. We just ended up leaving.
