Dwight is an outstanding funeral director. Very personable, conscientious, caring, and very professional. He is well respected in the community and I am glad to know him. He truly does an A#1 funeral for people. Thanks for all you do for everyone.

I don't know this Glen that left a review but my guess he is a fake. I have known Dwight Thabet for over 35 years and he is the most compassionate funeral director I know. He would do anything to make sure a family was satisfied with their loved ones funeral. Below this comment is a comment from Glen Quagmire. Glen Quagmire is a ficticious character in a show called Family Guy. Glen Quagmire is a rather dubious character on that show. This means someone has posted a slanderous review using a false name. Plus they post something that couldn't possibly have occurred. Not one viewing I had this year resulted in cremation. They use terms most people don't use. They say that their mother passed suddenly. The M. E. would order an autopsy, therefore, "quickly prepped and cremated" couldn't happen. It is stated that this was reported and there are other "occurances" being investigated. There are no reports filed with the Tuscola County Prosecutor's office or the State of Michigan. A funeral home must be licensed by the state. You can check with the State of Michigan and find there aren't any investigations ever. I have no idea who did this. Anyone can say anything about anyone on the internet. And people effected by such things just have to live with it. I hope this helps to refute the outlandish accustion put forward in the review I have mentioned here. And that everyone will simply see that review for what it really is and ignore it. Thank You,

If you value the way your loved ones are treated after they pass, find another place to prepare their body. After my mother suddenly passed, we wanted to quickly have her body prepped for viewing and then cremated. I showed up an hour prior to the viewing with my sister and father, and what l saw was vile and disgusting. We walked in and found Dwayne, the owner, with his hand way up under my mothers dress, and the other appeared to be in his pants. Of coarse we were about 20 feet away, and could have been mistaken, but l doubt it since his shirt was halfway untucked and the look on his face was that of someone caught doing something that they shouldn't. He smiled oddly and said that he was just making sure thing were looking proper and that he did not expect anyone so early and didn't hear the bell ring and it startled him. There is an ongoing investigation, and we were shocked to hear that others have made reports about him in the past.

This man is mean, and very unprofessional. Morticians are known to be kind, calm, and gentle. He is the opposite. I would never let him touch a loved one after passing. Buyer beware.
