Kendra I wanna thank you for all the help you shown for purchasing my new 2009 escape. It’s been over 24 hours no issues and rides smooth. The customer service was exceptional and my questions were all answered respectfully. I have been out a car since 2021 and had nights where I worked midnights walking home miles… those days are finally over and I thank you for doing your business with me! My money was well spent and others there were also polite! We appreciate your business and will recommend others to check out! So glad I did!

Well I happen to have bought 3 vehicles from them even financed all 3 and I had great luck actual the day I paid off my first car I left it there and took off in my new truck but I’ve always had nothing but good helpful staff and good running vehicles from them! Sorry to hear that was not the case for some of you l. Actually they took a chance on me because of my time at employer to finance me when nobody else would here I am 3 vehicles later because of then and still currently own the first purchase from 2010 as a back up car still start right up and goes!!! I’ll continue to be a returning customer!

Last spring (2023), while looking for a car for my fiance, we traveled to southern Ohio and to Northern Michigan (ALL OVER) looking at cars, we lived in Monroe and long behold she had done business here before but they didn't have anything when we looked a few weeks back, We decided to check it them out again and we found a 2014 accord. Test drove it and she fell in love! It had 201,000 miles but Honda's run forever. We made a reasonable cash deal and here we are today (Feb. 12 2024) and the car has 220,000 miles and has been up to northern Michigan numerous times and to Tennessee for our vacation. The staff and owner were very friendly (Especially the owner if you're into Mopars like I am!) I would without hesitation purchase another vehicle from here.

I had the displeasure of meeting this business owner this morning. Backstory is my 19 y/0 son in law bought a Ford Focus from them that after taking it to a mechanic and putting it up on a lift they showed him in more than a couple places where the frame was completely rotted out and deemed unsafe to drive. I went there today to advocate for him and I'm glad I did because I'm sure he would have just taken advantage of his being young and gullible again. He was very aggressive from the start lying and putting words in my mouth. I asked if he could credit him the purchase price and put it towards another car. Reasonable, right? Not for this guy. He said that he would give him 800.00 credit from the 2,400.00 that he paid towards a car maybe, depending upon how I treated him, (which did not work out in his favor because I wont be bullied)and that hopefully my son in law learned a lesson. He also told me that they have no way of inspecting the cars they receive as a trade in. I'm sure he will respond to this about the as is no warranty paper but I mean c'mon this was this kids first car purchase and there is still such a thing as being a decent human being instead of a bully. He will say I told them they could take it to a mechanic and pay for an inspection but what he won't say is that he followed that with " but this car is perfect"

Would write a review about my car buying experience but they won't reply. Contacted them via autotrader and from their website, completely ghosted me. I can't imagine having a business and ignoring potential customers. Lazy.

Honestly i am being lenient by giving one star. We went there to purchase a car that we already reviewed online on their website and arrived around 4:50 pm. There was already one person ahead of us when we got there so we patiently waited in the waiting area only to be told they’re closing and sorry come back tomorrow! (Even though their hours said they closed at 6 pm ON THEIR DOOR). Anyway we said okay and came back the next morning around 11 am only to be told that the owner wasn’t in and purchases cannot be made without him present. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere and are MUCH HAPPIER with the new car we got that was the same price as hedges car but 100 Xs nicer anyway! Blessing in disguise!

Had a great experience and am very happy with the car. Honest, family business. Be aware that these are budget, as-is cars, BUT they let you take them pretty much for the day - not just an around the block “test drive”. That’s HUGE. Pay a mechanic to look it, pay for the CarFax. Know what you’re buying and you can’t go wrong here.

I have purchased 5 vehicle's from them and have had 3 friends buy from there and have never had a problem,they are good honest people,they let you take the car anywhere you want to get it checked and they have good fair prices..

Bought a car back in April, only to find out a couple days later that it had multiple repairs costing more than the car is worth. They are deceiving people as well when I opened my truck I found a bottle of cataclean meaning they used this solution to temporarily turn of the check engine light to make it seem as if the car had no issues. A couple days after driving the car I almost got into a car accident due to the car just completely shutting down in the middle of the freeway, it was very embarrassing and traumatic to myself and my children. And now I am stuck paying for a car that I can't drive. The women in the office lied to me as well knowing that the car was not worth the amount due to all those repairs. The owner is a complete fraud and in due time he will reap what he has sown. God knows all and sees all and He won't allow people like him to keep deceiving people much longer. I have forgiven, but I will never forget this experience. The love of money is definitely the root to all evil.

I purchased my car from Hedges used cars back in December 2021. I only had the car for three days and a lightning bolt symbol appeared on the dashboard. The car started to sputter, jerking and reduce speed. I contacted Royal Hedges which is the son of the owner Dennis Hedges regarding the issue. He told me a several different things that it could possibly be may be a cold need to be clear it out something might be a clog something like that. I took it to a couple of mechanics to fix some small thing fixed. The lightning bolt still appeared. I still was experience the same issues he just was getting worse it started to star in shut off. When I was able to drive it which was not a lot because it sat more than I could drive it I had to pull over turn the car off sit for a while before I start it up hopefully the lightning bolt won't appear and it clears it out. I called several times Roy the sun who sold me the car was no longer working there. So I called often with my complaints to speak to the owner Dennis Hedges will relay a few messages to me through a third-party I went up there he was never there he's been avoiding all my phone calls you haven't return my phone calls. One of the last things that was told to me through a third-party was if you can get the car up here I'll see what I can do . I told him that I don't have money to tow the car and the Excelerator is just revving in a car will not drive at all. Next thing I know when I come home the car is gone. I called him and said oh I guess you guys got the car so my request to them is give me my money back or give me a car that actually runs. I also the whole time since December I didn't tell him what the problem was when I end up finding out that it was a harness issue computer issue. So I get a letter in the mail that he did repo the car and if I wanted to get my things back that I have to pay the remainder of the loan to have the car returned to me and if I had any questions give him a call. I've been calling him ever since going up there ever since he's been avoiding seeing me he's been avoiding my phone calls. They were items inside a car that I have my personal belongings and my license plate that was on the car I called and made mention of those things still have not received my personal belongings which I do believe even if he did get the car that my personal belongings supposed to be returned to me and he won't even talk to me or appear in person so I can even retrieve my items. So in conclusion I believe that their company is a rip off they don't try to work with their customers all they do is void it look like I only pay at look like I rented the car for four months for $1000 a month because they have $4000 of my money I have no car I don't have my personal items that was in the car and on the car and they won't even returning my phone calls or talk to me in person. So I will say I don't believe that they are a reputable company and that they are professional lol when it comes down to servicing their customers so I would not recommend them to anyone!!! PS I went past there recently and my car is in a lot to be sold. I spoke to a young lady that was there and dentist that had just the owner was not there of course and she told me that they put the car in the shop and he's been in there for months that they had it was a computer issue and that they had to re-calibrate it so they spent a few thousand dollars to get it repaired. If that is the case I want my car back!!!! So now the owner Dennis hedges fix the vehicle after he repo the vehicle from me after I complain for months about the issues with the vehicle to turn around and put it on his lot to sell it and he still will not contact me or see me in person regarding the car that I no longer have and I'm out of four grand.
