I’d give less of a rating if possible. New assistant manager(Michelle), ran my card 4 times then told me my card was blocked?!?! Somebody behind me paid for the groceries for me to get home and realize my card went through at the store! I go to this store all the time and so does my family. Stealing from people is illegal and to do it while people are trying to pay for groceries is pathetic. At the end of the day, I blessed the man that paid for my groceries and I called corporate, whose number Michelle refused to give after basically stealing money from my account.

One of the managers lets her kids run around unattended, screaming and running through the store. Made my shopping experience difficult.

I want to make it very clear that I am not giving this particular store five stars I am giving the stores employee five stars. I can’t remember her name, beautiful girl with a southern accent, short beautiful black hair, This woman brightens my day every single time I see her! She is kind, she is always working hard, but most importantly unlike the other employees she treats every single person who walks through the door with respect and greets them with a smile and a how ya doin…I have come into the store and been treated so awful by other employees and even the management, 90% of the time they are too busy to come to the register it is more important for them to talk about their pets in their home wife inside the office, but not this girl! I personally think she should be running that store. To the Corporate office, If you guys are actually smart enough to read these reviews you need to pay attention to this employee because she is amazing and you guys will be fools to lose her!

This hurts my heart to write this because I usually love going here and everyone that works there. The young dark haired girl working the register with the accent was so rude to this elderly customer. Telling her to leave the store and she was just trying to buy her items and leave. Then once the lady leaves telling the rest of the customers in line that she isn't above telling off an old lady. That's so rude. The elderly lady was only upset because this girl was chatting with her friend who doesn't work there instead of ringing up the long forming line. I will be going to the dollar general on grafton now.

Rude lady would rather talk to her friends that don't look like they work there then help customers. Carlton dollar genreal is not far but might be worth the drive.

Should have just gotten back in my vehicle parking lot was scattered with litter store was dirty and unorganized couldn't navigate the isles were blocked went to self serve to cash out sign posted at eye level said No EBT so preceded to run my purchase to pay with cash apparently that wasn't option either was pointed to the mess of notes that were plastered around check out area was told when I questioned how to continue basically I should have read it it was written 3 times No cash !!!! Come on Dollar General get your S **T together

The front door has been broken since at least Easter! Many of the isles are unpassable. Why has the fire dept not done any building safety inspections? The price tags on the shelves are mostly wrong. They are short handed always. The employees need better systems for stocking.
