The people that work there gave us recipe ideas, helped us find everything we needed and were very friendly! I even tried a new drink and it is SO good. “This might be the cutest little market in Michigan. Very rustic but personable. They have the basic groceries and the guy at the counter was absolutely welcoming and helpful. They have pizzas and sandwiches available for lunch and tables outside where you can rest and enjoy. They even have a small wine room as well. Small basic liquor sold here as well I walked away really pleased. Been there a long time and I hope it stays!”

“I give the place a four star review rather than a five-star because it's frustrating that you're parked right beside the customer service box and still cannot pump gas and then pay. It's a pain when you've got cash do you have to pay first, then pump your gas, then go back for your change. I'm disabled and that's a lot of walking that's hard for me. But the lady was very friendly and the gas prices were okay considering.”

“Last night I went into the Almont Dollar General store and there was only one person in there. I was there for few minutes and all these customers kept coming in. When I was there, I was surprised to see most of the shelves were stocked, no full carts of merchandise on the floor like most of the time, floors were cleaned, and more. I was surprised to see they got people who care about the place. Also, one of the employees who worked there who was a really good person was let go because of something that happened and it could have happened to anybody if you work in retail. I think the company should give this person another try at Dollar General. How did this person know that is was going to happen. Nobody does know or if it does happen because we are all not perfect. Also when we were there there was two young guys there and they were very helpful. These two guys are there most of the time. The one with the long hair is very nice and helpful should be Assistant Manager to the Almont Dollar General store and the other guy should be Key Holder. These guys work very hard when every time we come to the store. I think Dollar General should make these guys these positions right away because hard working people are hard to come by. The following guys that were nice and professional when we were there was Declan and Nather. They were great last night.”
“Typical Dollar General it's a quickie stop not especially great prices as started out being just less crowded easy enter Easy exit as long as you're headed north if you try to enter or exit Southbound it may be difficult”
“The Kroger Imlay pharmacy team is outstanding. They are taking the prescriptions business from 3 local Rite Aids that are closing so it's insanely busy.
They still managed to get my scripts transferred fast and on time, even when I needed an urgent refill due to my mistake. Tech Ms. Carol and Pharmacist Ms. Hazar handle it all with a smile!”
