“The staff is super nice. We found a very specific jacket for my daughter for a school project. They gave it to us for less than the price on it. It was only $5. I donate there a lot.”
“Updated 2024
What on earth has happened to this location?!?! I used to love coming here but now there is overflowing items brought in all over the main isle which used to be bare but even worse are the actual racks! They are so over stuffed you can hardly go through them. Clothes ripped off hangers all over, constant wrong sizes and gender mix ups plus today I don't know how many clothes I seen with tears, rips and clear as day stains on them. Like I was actually bewildered they accepted some of these clothes. This location is cheaper than ann arbor but after going again recently and seeing the same thing I think I'll go back to ann arbor. I truly hope this place can turn it around. The workers are still lovely though and always great talking to :)
Great place for children clothes. I have b/g twins and I come here when ever they need new clothes and sleepers and I always find plenty. I often find clothes brand new with tags still on. I also enjoy the ladies that work here. They're always pleasant to chat with?”
“Love this Salvation Army! I've been shopping here since 2010! Like any thrift shop, there are a lot of items that you need to look through to find a name-brand item that you like, but the are in there if you're willing to look. The store is so big that you're almost guaranteed to leave with at least one thing.”
“I usually don't love selling clothes at Plato's Closet...but this location is the exception! The staff is so kind and thorough when explaining exactly why they are or are not purchasing your items. Will definitely go here again next time I need to sell any of my clothes!”
