If you have spectera insurance, I would not go the sams club for glasses. I have excellent insurance that covers up to $150 for frames as well as covering all the upgrades including progressive bifocals, transitions, anti glare etc. at 100% . I have attempted to order the same frames exactly the same way 3 different at 2 different Sams optical locations (twice at Canton and once at Southgate) and was given was given 3 different prices($199 /$93 / $173).

My experience with this particular store wasn't long, nor did I spend any money. It was brief but I still feel this crew deserved a few kind words. Before stopping I decided to ask a crew member (I wished at the time I had taken his name, but I didn't) if I could get a nose pad repaired and replaced on my existing glasses. He then took my glasses and said just a minute. While waiting, another crew member asked if I needed help, I replied "no thank you, another gentleman was helping me". A couple minutes later the crew member brought my glasses all repaired and cleaned. I smiled, thanked him and asked what the damage was? He said no charge it was complimentary. I replied, "are you serious?" he said "yes no worries". I said "wow, thank you so much". Nice people, I'll be back again if & when I have a more serious need.

I am editing my review now that it has been 3 years since my initial. Dr. Gupta and Edward were so considerate and kind I've decided to change my rating from a three star to a five. :)

terrible experience, i made an appointment and didn’t even get called for over an hour, the doctor did not listen to me when i said i wanted monthly pair of contacts and still managed to write me for a daily pair (more expensive) that i did not ask for, i did not get a say in anything and all they want is your money, i called to get my prescription and they refuse to give it to me.

Looked online it said, they close at 8:30 I get there at 7:10 the sign says they close at 7. Edward was sitting there on the phone, I ask him can I just purchase contacts. He was VERY RUDE and said, No I’m closed after I told him it states online they close at 8:30. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere!!

This has been the worst experience for me. The first sales lady was friendly but as it turned out was in training and didn't explain to me fully about the differences in lenses. When the order came in, I couldn't see through them well and another sales lady claimed it was because I bought 'cheap' lenses. I then paid extra for the upgraded lenses and still was having seeing problems. Every time I walked in to this optical center, the service was more rude. I couldn't bear it any longer as I was the customer and paid good money for a bad product and service. I finally had to go to the Novi Sam's Optical for a proper fitting and better service. They were terrific out there.
