The prices are out of control here. Greedy managment and pricing. Let's all remember - everything they receive is free. Whatever price they put on it, they are making 100% profit because the cost was nothing. What does Salvation Army actually do to help the community? Besides just taking advantage of the disadvantaged, I'd really like to know. This used to be a great store for everyone to shop at. Now, it's a trash filled boutique. The prices are not this bad anywhere else. Even the newly renovated Plymouth Road location isn't this bad. You have furniture that nobody wants that has been sitting for months! Some pieces of furniture have been there since January (it's almost March now), and even at the "discount" nobody wants it because it's still too expensive!!! And also, don't you love it when they write the price in permanent marker on everything - ruining vintage and antique items. Gotta love it. Just put some tape on it like other stores!!! Why do you have to damage items in the process, while you're already charging obscene amounts for FREE donated goods. What is the actual reason that prices are so high now? Where is this money going? It certainly isn't going to this community, or even towards a desperately needed renovation. This place is a big heaping steaming pile of disappointment and frustration. Keep on losing customers. Take your donations elsewhere!!! Somewhere that actually serves the community. Literally any other thrift store in this area would put your donations to a better use.

It's nice but the men's selection is very small.

You can always count on a frustrating donation experience here. Not open on time, hours posted are incorrect, long lines, etc.

Got some old cd's. Went to pay for them and old, overweight, gray haired cashier (ora) was nasty rude. Asked what her problem was and all she did was glare at me. Told her that her behavior was inappropriate and just got more glaring. That was the second time. Several months earlier she displayed the same angry nasty behavior also but I just ignored it. Why would a service organization put a person with obvious "issues" in a position where she has to deal with the public? Get her some therapy!

Definitely not a clean store. Some items are priced as you would expect and others are laughable. Also, they have signs posted around saying media is 2 for .99¢, and the signs clearly state that this includes video games. However when you take a video game to the register they tell you it’s $2.99 each. I got out of line, took a picture of the sign and showed them in clear writing on their own signs this includes video games and they just refused to honor it. Find a different location if you want reasonably priced things with no false advertising.

Great resale store, a large amount of new and designer items. One of my favorite Salvation Army thrift stores.

Great selection and good deals. Sometimes can be hit and miss but every thrift store is like that

Had some great luck here. Lots of inventory compared to other thrift stores. The dressing room isn’t really clean, that’s my only complaint.

Drop off process at Joy Road took Way too long. They go thru every bag and box so to expedite make sure you categorize your items or they will at your trunk

Horrible employees and service. Will NEVER donate there again. Went to Goodwill on Ford where they are polite and respectful.

while they have great selections of clothes, there's one employee here that is incredibly rude. I came in a couple days ago, and was waiting in line. This woman was having a hard time understanding something, as there's a language barrier. As someone who's been in customer service for years, i would friendly explain in a respectful demeanor. This woman was raising her voice at the customer, she couldn't even get a word in. I don't remember the employee's name, but i've had several interactions with her as i come in frequently. Every interaction i've had with her has been unpleasant. And no matter how many times i've asked her how she's doing, or told her to have a great day, her attitude does not change.

Was about to drop off a couple thousand dollars worth of clothes but I was 3 minutes late past their 6:30 drop off deadline. Kind of ridiculous. Won't be happening now.

Prices marked higher than the original prices on the items... don't know what the people are thinking that are pricing the items but you are not going to sell them at 1000% markup... maybe you need to rethink your prices...
