Thinking of applying at Park West? Brace yourself.Online Application Circus: The online platform is a facade. After slogging through the online application, imagine my surprise when they decided that wasn't good enough and I needed to redo it manually and over email. It's 2023, not 1999. It also raises concerns about data security.Endless Documentation: I provided my W2. But apparently, they're insatiable. They kept coming back asking for more details, like monthly income. Really?Communication Labyrinth: Less deflecting and more direct, clear communication would have been refreshing.Refund Policy: Heads up! They're very protective of those application fees, regardless of the hiccups or headaches you endure on their part.Though Park West may be lovely aesthetically, their administrative approach is reminiscent of a jumbled jigsaw puzzle. If my experience is a barometer for their day-to-day management, prospective tenants might want to consider a hard hat. Here's to hoping they use feedback like this as a wake-up call, not just another email to archive.

For a place that touts itself as offering "exceptional living", my application journey with Park West was anything but exceptional. Promptness didn't appear to be in their playbook. Delays were a consistent theme throughout the process, highlighting a lack of respect for applicants' time and patience. While my interactions with certain staff members were limited, the overarching theme was clear: Park West has a systemic issue in handling its application process. If this experience mirrors their day-to-day operations, prospective tenants should brace themselves.

Lived here for about 2.5 years and I have to say they set the standard of how apartments should be managed! The best maintenance guys that are friendly and get the job done very quickly. You definitely get what you pay for when decide to lease at park west. Unlike other properties their units look just like they do online very clean and modern

During the several years of living at Park West had no issues and any maintenance issues were resolved same day. Having a pool and workout center on site that is always clean is a bonus. The location is ideal in terms of highway accessibility being close to M-14, I-275 and I-96 all within minutes. Would recommend staying here for anyone looking to rent.

Moved out, found out that they deducted 700$ out of deposit to replace carpet althoguh we never stepped on carpet with outdoor shoes ! They also charged me 300$ for "month to month" lease!-Cooling and heating systm is terrible, its very hot upper level while pretty cool down in the suumer. The opposite in winter- Floor crakes when stepping on in the upper level, the noise can wake up a child, unbelieveab- door/windows isolation in winter is not good.-Units are overpriced!-Inside looks great but if you look closer either contractor was rushed to finish or cheap material used (tiny yellow spots on granite, many dents on door frames!!, paint very poor quality that dents or discolor easily, some spots not painted !, doors not aligned, door doesn't open or close easily. I like the wood floor, kitchen, and carpet though-Leasing agent was very nice and professional but doesn't have good idea about the contract content. Was given couple inaccurate information in the contract.- Was given false information; i was told there is deadbolt on every door, sprinkler system in my unit, fire extinguisher, this is not avaliable in all units!- Noise from Ford road given speed 55 but my unit is well isolated if you close windows. You dont hear any noise from neighbors on either side which is goodThe good things- Staff and maintenence are cooperative and very nice, i was given a free month offer and 2 gift cards. Judy and Cameron are very helpful and always appreciated for their help- Pool and gym are nice, areas around are nice and clean- Living close to Ford and 275 which is very active area, alot of things to do there- Spacous space in the unit, alot of closet and storage area

I’m sure there are many many applicants for this property. Yet when you tell an approved applicant they are next in line then turn around and pass the one available unit to the next in line because first in line couldn’t return your phone call until one hour later because they were AT WORK! Unscrupulous leasing practices- have PLAN B ready.

****UPDATE*****My credit file came back with the correct information as I knew it would. The information is submitted to Park West about a week later. To my surprise they let the apartment go that I originally wanted and put my deposit down for. Now the complex is completely leased out. I later decided to go to a sister apartment of the company so I won’t have to run my credit AGAIN (3rd time). Everything is going fine until Park West tells the new apartment my application needs to be ran AGAIN! So because you all gave away the original apartment I put a deposit on (I wasn’t given the chance to have a co-signer, even though I don’t need it.) and your complex is completely leased.. I have to run my credit again! This place has made my apartment search a horrible experience. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Civil Rights Department and HUD.The grounds here are nice. I applied for a townhome on 5/11 and received a denial letter same date. Confused on why I received this denial, I reached out to their credit reporting company (RentGrow) for the screening report. The report had an inaccurate account, I immediately disputed this with RentGrow and Experian. I reached out to the leasing agent Kevin to explain the situation and he said I could send in paperwork to dispute the report. I sent the paperwork in the next morning to show the account was paid in full last year. Then soon after he stated “ Unfortunately you are still denied. If that account or accounts are paid in full now, the decision is made based on the fact that you let them default in the first place. You will not be able to apply for 6 months. That is our policy.” Now, that’s pretty confusing... why tell me to submit paperwork to dispute the account in the first place? Why apply again in 6 months if “the fact you let them default in the first place” is the true reason? So I’m being denied based on a false/inaccurate report? Everything else in my report passed. The reason for denial stated “severe chargeoff”, since I’ve proved this account wasn’t charged off you would think the decision would be reconsidered? I even reached out to another representative from another property of theirs and was told the 6 month rule can be considered waived for situations like this. It’s hard for me to believe that everyone in their properties have perfect credit and no history of previously owed accounts. There’s a stigma with apartments in Canton regarding people of color and I was hoping this place would be different.

Park West is kept very neat and clean. The staff here are responsive. The location is convenient for work as well as play. The location has a very nice look to it. It is restful and reassuring community to return to at the end of a long day. It is also a nice place to spend time on the weekend or have friends and family come to visit.

We just finished our first year here and are planning to stay for a while! The apartments are beautiful and the amenities are great – like the pool, gym, yoga room, and walking paths! The management does a great job of appreciating residents – they gave us a Christmas and Valentine’s gift last year, and they had free ice cream to cheer everyone up during COVID. We had some problems with our air conditioning unit not being installed correctly, but every time it malfunctioned maintenance came out immediately and took care of the problem ASAP. Maintenance is also super friendly, willing to help, and respectful – it makes all the difference when you need help with something! He even came out to help on a holiday once! We love living here.I do wish the package concierge was set up though!

We have lived here for about 18 months now. We love Park West! There were a few hiccups related to new construction, but maintenance has always been available, respectful, and extremely quick to respond. The property is well maintained and staff are courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend this community. We look forward to renewing our lease!

I really like living at Park West. Arin is one of the leasing agents at Park West and he works extremely hard to ensure that you are happy. I recently sold my home and had a really hard time adjusting to the new normal of apartment living. Whenever I call the office he is always very polite and professional. He goes over and beyond to make sure the residents are happy and he communicates very well with management. The community is beautiful and I like the area.

New move-in here at park west and so far I LOVE IT! The community is very well kept, homes are clean and newly built, VERY quiet area of canton. The office staff and maintenance are great people!! Coming from a house to a town house is new for me and this community has made the transition very easy. 10/10
