Bought Vimto drink and they put it in only one bag and the bag tore (I didn't pay attention). Had to sit and clean my garage. They need to improve their customer service.

I have been to couple of papaya stores around Detroit, including the one at canton. As i live in canton i go here quite often for groceries. On a weekday evening i happen to reach the entrance by 7:40 pm (the store shuts by 8pm) the lady from the register started notifying me at the entrance saying they were closed. And i asked her if they shut at 8 right? Her facial expressions were like what will you buy in 10 mins?I was just very sure of what i wanted to buy. I requested her if i can quickly grab couple of mint and cilantro and she was like ok go ahead but make sure to get done by 8 . Unfortunately cilantro and mint were out from the shelves, and i happened to ask one of the employees from the produce and he was very kind and helpful to get me the fresh ones from the storage inside.I was at the billing at 7:56 pm sharp ! But the woman at the register was so much in rush to close that she even forgot to greet.There are neighbouring grocery stores who will let you in upto 8pm . Which are comparatively cheaper than this store.No doubt at papaya they have quite lot of stuff and options but didn’t find it very welcoming.Not forgetting to mention the kind of mint leaves i finally got attaching a picture to see.

I absolutely love shopping at this supermarket! From the moment I walk in, I'm greeted with a clean, well-organized environment that makes my shopping experience so much more pleasant. The staff here are always friendly and go out of their way to help, whether it's by pointing me in the right direction or helping me find a specific item.The produce section is a real highlight – everything looks so fresh and the variety is impressive. I can always find what I need for my recipes. Plus, their bakery section is to die for! The bread is always fresh and the pastries are a treat I can never resist.The prices are competitive, and I appreciate how they offer great weekly deals. Their store brand products are of high quality too, which is great for saving a few bucks without compromising on taste or quality.Lastly, the checkout process is a breeze with their efficient staff. I rarely have to wait long in line. This supermarket is a gem in the community and I'm always happy to shop here. Keep up the fantastic work!Although this place is ran by a different Culture than mine I’m glad I’ve had the privilege to experience papaya. Every place has flaws but this specific grocery store goes above and beyond to make everyone’s experience better.

I never expected to be overlooked while being look at in Canton but it happened here today. This cashier opened and literally looked at me next in line and told the people behind me (they looked like her, i do not) to come over. My first and last visit here as first impressions matter.

Great selection of fresh fruits and veggies. Reasonable prices, better quality than the standard mega-grocery stores. We recently heard about them (word of mouth) and have been going every weekend. A true neighborhood gem.

Lots of varieties of fresh produce with cheap prices. Warm staff in attendance for assistance. Cashiers attend to customers with courtesy. Neat and well arranged products for ease of identification. My first choice of African store any day.

The store is well organized, with a variety of produce, meat and other products. Usually, the only missing item from my shopping list is "curry leaves". I hope the store will add it sooner.

Looks like a five stars papaya!!!They have a bakery and rotisserie chickens etc.If only they would have heated our breakfast up for us like we asked!!!(what's the point of paying for convenience if you don't get to enjoy your food)Also, 11/18/23 the zaatars we got were not just cold, but EXTREMELY SALTY!!!!!!
