“Tenisha is amazing and helped ensure that I got my one hour glucose test done promptly, as I had another important high risk appointment for my pregnancy to attend. Despite arriving right at opening, there were 18 people waiting ahead of me. When I realized I might not be able to wait due to the time constraint with my next appointment, I asked the registration staff if there was any way they could expedite my registration so I could drink my glucose drink that needed to be in my system for one hour before the draw. Their response was “I can’t because I’m the only one here.” There really needs to be better protocol for pregnant women who are here for this test. We should not have to wait for the duration of registration (for me it would have took 30-40 minutes just to get registered) to even get my drink. By then, I could be halfway done with the wait time for my blood draw. I decided to check with the lab staff, and they were very understanding of my situation and helped me get my drink right away. If they had not done this, I would have been late to or missed my appointment. Please improve your protocol for pregnant women and glucose tests! It is much better/more efficient at the Cherry Hill lab (currently closed) where we could receive this draw in the same building as our OBGYN.”
“I've had 5 tests done here so far, all were fortunately covered by my insurance. This place is fast, the longest I've ever waited to get my test done is about 5 minutes.”
