“I drive over 30 minutes to come to EMoC. They greet everyone warmly when arriving. It's a courtesy you don't see much anymore. I come for the large beef soup bones, which they cut into smaller pieces for me upon request. My dog and I really appreciate it (he's just a lil guy). I am also able to find chicken hearts, which I love in soup. My dog goes crazy for them, too. I will be back for the unique offerings. Take a ride over to this place and check it out.”

I have never in my life been treated so warmly and kindly in a grocery store, she made my fiance and I feel like we were her family. I was visiting the area only briefly, and signed up to become a member. She made that process easy and fun, and let us in on a few coupon codes to further save. I wish I lived in Canton! Gladys is a treasure, which I'm sure you already know, but I couldn't bear beginning the new year without sharing the joy she brought us!”
“August is a small and clean Chinese grocery store in Canton. Prices are slightly higher than the larger Chinese grocery stores in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. The owners keep things very neatly organized and the vegetables in the back of the store are high quality and fresh with some of the items wrapped in plastic. There is a stamp card for loyal customers to get a percentage off after ten stamps. It would be nice to have a larger grocery store like the ones in Madison Heights and Ypsilanti, but at least there is an option for Canton and surrounding area residents to get Chinese groceries without leaving town.”

“This is my “go to” market when I want to get in and out quickly. Good produce. Good grass fed milk products. Great rotisserie chicken. I don’t really care for their meats though I do like their deli. They often have everything I need in the grab and go section.”
“Went there to buy indian groceries. Must say they have better stuff compared to other stores. Also the products are very well arranged. And in case if we find it difficult to locate, the employees are there to help.”
“The employees here are so nice. They saw I was struggling to carry my baby and groceries so they carried my groceries to the car for me. Plus the meat here is always great and they cut it really well. They also have fun snacks like plant based stuffed paratha, momos, and hot food.”

“I love going to fresh produce markets and flower / plant stores even though I'm an online shopping gal. I enjoy going to Papaya market because they do have some of the freshest produce. Their Canton location is conveniently located, has ample parking (unlike the Dearborn one), and is cleaner. It is getting quite crowded now, with so many new setups and such but still, a wonderful place, especially for fruits that are not readily available elsewhere (figs, lychees, etc).”
“The two gentlemen working today (Hassan and Lahib/Labib, I believe) are a life saver! Another pharmacy ran out of Tamaflu, right before Christmas. They were able to work with that pharmacy, transfer the prescription and fill it same-day. These guys went above and beyond!”
“As I was walking out Saturday night , the young man at the door stopped me and requested he see my receipt. I explained to him I do not have to show him it, he said “well m’am I know this is a hassle and I’m sorry you are frustrated by this, I’m just trying to do my best at this job and hope you can help me out by showing me the receipt as that cat litter isn’t in a bag.” Honestly I was having a horrible day and this almost threw me over the edge, but he was so kind even with me being rude so I gave him the receipt. After checking it, he thanked me for my time and made it a point to compliment my toddlers spider man boots and my toddler LOVES his spider man boots, so this made his day. I’m just here to say whoever the heavy set white man is at the door (I think his name was Alan or Al, I can’t remember exactly), thank you for showing me and my family kindness when we didn’t deserve it and gave you attitude. You are good people and I wish you the best! Hope this finds you!”
“My experience with the deli was top notch, I ordered 96 pieces of fried chicken when I tell you it was cooked to perfection and everyone raved about the quality of the meat and the juiciness of of the meat. My order was completed on time and my customer service experience was 10 out of 10. I have ordered two sandwich platters from this Kroger before this time I wanted to serve something warm and was not disappointed. For the amount of chicken you get no one around can beat the price. So if you looking for a crowd-pleaser without breaking the bank this is where you need to come hands down.”

“Ample parking. The inside cleanliness reflects the outside. Usually, it is easy to run in and out. Lately I have been using the pick-up option as to which the service has been wonderful. From picking fresh vegetables to perfectly choosen fresh fruits. And very little delay when I arrive for pickup.”
“I had such a great experience at the Kroger on Michigan Avenue in Canton, thanks to Kamran! He delivered my groceries to my car, and I was so impressed with his kindness and professionalism.
Kamran was incredibly polite and kept me updated about the substitutions in my order, which I really appreciated. What stood out most, though, was his positive attitude — it’s rare to find someone in the grocery industry these days with so much enthusiasm. He genuinely seemed to care about providing great service, and it made my shopping experience that much better.
Kroger is lucky to have someone like Kamran on their team. I’ll definitely be back.”

“Clean large good selection. Some of the prices on their stuff can be a little exorbit. But they have some specialty items as well which makes it worth the trip. Giving their location next to Sam's club at Walmart it allows me to do all my really signature shopping for food items and sauces and spices in one convenient area. Staff is super nice building is really clean parking lot is well maintained other than the traffic around the area which is not their fault this place is great”
