Update: Horrible sales experience with Diane, who botched my $4,000 order, and her manager Jessica who backed her up. Always read the receipt with these people at Gardiner-White CLOSELY because if you don't, you can end up paying for their mistake. NEVER AGAIN will I walk into their showroom and I'll tell all my friends. THE WORST. Zero star! I wish I had read these reviews before because others have had this experience. READ THE RECEIPT CAREFULLY before & after paying BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE! When your furniture arrives, before you sign for it open the plastic and confirm that you got what you ordered! They are all about covering up their mistakes and holding you responsible for reading the precepts carefully and not trusting that the sales agent entered the correct items unwrapping delivered furniture to confirm correct item. Once they get your money the smiles end and you're on your own to pay 25% restocking fees. Just read a review that the extended warranty that I bought on three couches is a scam! It's via a third party and they will deny claims and take forever to address any claim that they might eventually approve! ==ORIGINAL REVIEW 5 stars ===== Very helpful staff, especially Diane. After searching around, I'm pleased with the prices & services they worked out for me. The 4 year warranty on is a a good deal that I recommend.

I purchased a reclining couch and chair from the people at gardener white Canton. The couch had problems with it also they sent the wrong chair 3 times. So I canceled the order which they took off the couch but not the chair. Still being charged for it. Disputed this order whit them and Synchrony bank to no avail. Call 3 times and was assured that it will be taken care of but got another bill for another chair today.This was from 11/23. I'm going to put them on blast now also was told the better business bureau from someone who works there.

Oh, I hope I can save others from experiencing what I would call piss poor customer service! Two days ago our couch and recliner were delivered, and the delivery gentleman were professional, quick and did a wonderful job except they were missing a box of the feet for the couch . They advised me to call the store and make another appointment and someone would come out and attach the feet to our couch so I called the store and made an appointment for today between 1 and 4 PM. It's now 530 and I called the store to say what happened to the delivery people that were supposed to come out today? The girl kept me on hold for 5 minutes and then she came back and said "Sir, we had to order the feet for your couch and it will be 8 to 10 weeks." no one called me to tell me this!!! I had to call them and find out and they think this is acceptable? Now I have to admit Monta wanted me to go to Bob's furniture but this Gardner White store is so pretty and the furniture looks so nice so I overruled her to my chagrin

The service was superb my sales person didn't try to over sale the items I was looking for.He gently guided me and made sure I was happy with my selection. I spoke with some of the other sales people and they were as nice as he was and helpful in other areas. Great team.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM GARDNER WHITE! They Delivered a structurally defective sofa, and I noticed and reported within 20 mins of delivery; I was told I would be charged 25% ''restocking'' fee because I would not accept someone to come out and 'repair' it on site. Why should I have something defective, be repaired when I paid a premium for a brand new furniture? GW delivered a broken piece. This absolutely speaks to the fact that there isn't any pre-shipment inspection that ensures a quality product prior to leaving the warehouse. Not only is their policy predatory but they also are going to 'restock' this broken piece and send to some one else. That's the apparent cycle of this scam.

My wife and I purchased a new Tempur-Pedic mattress from Gardner-White Canton store. Our sales person was Tracy Silberschein. She was so helpful and understanding about the kind of mattress we wanted. We tried many of the mattresses on display. Our delivery will be the same day as we finalized the sale on Sunday. Great Service

We bought a new mattress from Tracy. She is very knowledgeable and showed us lots of mattresses and took her time without pressuring us for a sale. My wife had previously purchased a recliner/rocker from her and appreciated how much help and patience that she had previously provided.

Buyers beware, they offer a warranty that's not worth the paper it's written on. They charge top dollar for there furniture, and then give you a warranty/guarantee on the furniture you buy, then soon as you make a claim it takes like 3 months and hundreds of excuses to get it fix. So once it's repaired and your 1 year warranties up your extended warranty kicks in that you paid for, they tell you that you purchased a warranty through a totally different company and you have to go threw them for any claims, then you call them and they are very rude, and deny almost any and every claim you make, Gardner White is the worst scamming company out there and I wish I would of known all this before I spent almost $7,000 dollars with them. So I feel it's my duty to atleast let everyone know how they are ripping us hardworking people off and getting away with it. I wish someone would of told me this before I bought from them cause I definitely would of went somewhere else.

I came to Gardner White for a mattress. I purchased furniture multiple times in the past few years from them and had good experiences each time. The salesperson greeted me promptly, knew the inventory, communicated in a kind and courteous manner. The whole process was rather quick (applying for financing and scheduling delivery). The mattress was delivered by employees equally as kind as the salesperson.Professional through the whole process. I would not hesitate to shop there again.

My concerns regarding the size of sectionals in the showrooms was heard & addressed. Everything displayed was too large for my space. Design Consultant Mr. Kyle Watkins, was able to configure a unit & ottoman to meet my needs & that will fit perfectly in my room. Colors, textures, fabrics, cushion densities were were explored & selected. It was a timely process. Mr Watkins was patient & thorough. I am pleased with the results & look forward to delivery of my custom designed items.

This was my first shopping experience with Garner White and I can assure you it won't be the last! From the time I walked in the door to the time my furniture was delivered within 12 hours, my expectations were exceeded with tremendous customer care. Thanks to all of you at GW who helped make our move to our new home even sweeter. I'll be sure to spread "good rumors" to family and friends. Special thanks to Jessica! See you soon!

i must say i was excited to finally visit this location as it looks amazing from the outside. My family and i came in expecting to have the great experience. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! when we first walked in, one person spoke. we went upstairs where we found two living room sets we like. couldn’t find anyone to help us. there were tons of sales people standing around doing nothing. yet no one acknowledged us or anything. while walking out, again tons of sales people standing around having personal conversations and on their phones and absolutely no help! i will keep my money. took my business to 5th Avenue where i was greeted by three people and purchased two sectional sofas

TERRIBLE!!!!! CANTON LOCATION IS THE WORST. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! RUN. Let's start with the products BAD BAD BAD. DELIVERY is 3rd party and awful they don't use gloves, they don't look or operate professionally to say the least. Customer service is horrible (you can start to see the trend) Vonda AWFUL. Management awful! OVERALL TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They don't care about customers. don't shop here I give it another year they will be out of business.

Horrible experience! Beware of their bait and switch practices. Gardner White definitely does not value their customers. We went into the Canton location on Wednesday to look for a new corner sectional. We are having a party for our daughter on Monday and wanted to have more seating for our guests. We were greeted by Victor who gave us a few options that would work with our dimensions and style, and that were all available in stock to ship immediately. We wanted to check a few more stores just to see what other options were out there so we left but came back 2 days later to purchase for $3500. We were told again that all 6 pieces of our sectional were in stock and would be delivered the following day. To prepare for the new furniture, we sold our existing furniture that evening and prepped the space. We were given a delivery window and the delivery driver arrived within that time and was very friendly, but he let me know that he only had 2 pieces on the truck for me. I told him there should be 6. He said he could leave the two pieces he had and advised I call the store. I called immediately and was told that the other 4 items were on backorder and it would be a few weeks before they were delivered. I contacted our sales person, Victor, to see what was going on and he stated that the items were damaged on the truck so were never delivered to the warehouse and that was all they had until next Thursday. To say we are livid is an understatement. They are not offering anything to make it right. They said we could cancel the order and have the other pieces picked up, look for a new set that is available (which we already know there isn't one that works with style and size since we already went through all of this the other day), or wait until the pieces come in. They are not offering any type of credit or refund due to the major mistake that was made. We are now in a situation where we only have 2 seats in our living room and we are a family of 3, and we need to either spend more money to buy furniture from somewhere else to accommodate for our guests that will be here in 2 days or cancel our party. I work in customer service and I could not imagine a world where I didn't offer something to compensate a customer to make the situation right. We went back into the store to discuss the options and the horrible salesman Victor didn't come over to apologize or anything, instead he pawned us off on his colleague Bedford and hid from us the entire time. Bedford was very apologetic & actually honest with us about the timeline for receiving the missing pieces, which was a week later than what Victor told me on the phone. Unfortunately, we are stuck with waiting because the only other options they had would give us a smaller sectional or were not our style. While I appreciate his help, I would have expected the store manager to come do something. We were told that management said they would not do anything. We would not have purchased the item if we would have known it was on backorder. We were misled and then pretty much told that we had to deal with it. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and we will not be back for anything in the future.
