“I want to start out saying I actually work here at Schmidt's. I really love it here, reminds me of up north Michigan and let me tell you my boss and even my co workers are amazing people. The feeling of being there makes me happy and the flowers during summer are the best I love the smell when i'm watering them. The products are amazing and it's really cool seeing how much the owner takes pride in this store. I wanna thank my boss Kim and my other co workers for being a good group of people you guys treat me like family. Hope everyone can visit here on day.”

“Believe their claim that they have the best grocery prices in Michigan. The store is clean and I have found their “alternative” brands to be just as good - if not better than name brands which they also carry. Be prepared to have a quarter ready to unlock a shopping cart (which you get back when you return your cart and also bring your own grocery bags if you prefer not to purchase theirs for 11 cents each. Also, be ready to bag your own groceries. None of which bothers me, but FYI. ALDI’s has smaller stores and less selections than a large grocery store like Meijer’s- but that also means you are in or out quicker. When I grocery shop, Aldi’s is my SECOND stop after the Dollar Tree/Dollar General. After which - if I look for any remaining items (if any) at Meijer’s and/or Kroger’s. Kroger has reward points toward gas but Meijer’s tends to have the widest selection so it’s a toss-up.”

“They have a large selection of fruit, veggies, and any grocery item you may want but make sure you eat fresh fruit and veggies within two days or it will go bad. Everyone super friendly and prices are great so worth trip 2-3 times a week if needed.”

“This is such a wonderful store. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. The produce is top notch. I had to stop shopping at Fresh Thyme and Meijer because their produce was consistently subpar (molding & rotting quickly). They have a wonderful variety of local brands, and they almost always have new vegan products before anyone else in the area. It's a bit more expensive than a big box store but it's 100% worth it. The quality of their items is always superior.”

“Shop here most often out of any stores in the area. Was really pleased to try their Farmhouse White bread in August 2022. It was airy yet soft and chewy...perfect for sandwiches and held up several days. But over the last few months, the same bread is more dense and drier, leading to me looking for a good bread again. What changed? Did you lose experience? At 4.99 a loaf, I need some assurance of quality control.”
