Have great dry products but for livestock I wouldn’t trust them after my first visit yesterday. They had octospawn for $30 per head, me and my boyfriend bought 4 heads total and didn’t realize until we got home that it was INFESTED with red flatworms! At least a hundred. This was my first time going to this location as I’m from over an hour away and rarely make trips down this way but I wanted to try something different. Marked down that this is not the fish store to go to if there’s better options! 25 minutes away is the Tropicorium which we also went to yesterday and they are hands down the best place I’ve gone since I started this hobby, prices were amazing and they had everything you could think of coral and fish wise! To the people running the fish doctors, definitely need to improve what your doing because I paid $150 for 4 heads of absolutely infested octospawn. I’d love to bring it back but again I’m over an hour away, it’s currently in quarantine after a freshwater dip.

An 'alright' fish place. The used tanks were overpriced in my opinion but the driftwood was reasonable, the more unique tanks were rather pricey but in good condition from a brief inspection.Somewhat unimpressed by the fish knowledge shown in the tanks, grouping angel fish with betta fish and allowing male bettas to see each other in nearby tanks. I did like that they were not afraid to house bettas with other species (as this allows them to live in bigger tanks rather than the usual 'cups') but angel fish are too aggressive to house with them, smaller, faster, and less aggressive species would have been better. The bettas they did have though were very vibrant and had intact tails and fins (showing good health).3/5 due to some housing concerns but overall a decent place.

Bought 3 puffer fish and it was a complete disaster. First I informed the sales person that I was a beginner at taking care of fish. He assured me that puffer fish are relatively easy to care of, but on further investigation they are for more experienced owners. All 3 puffer were infected with "The Ick" Unfortunately all 3 puffer have died in less then a week. Between the $90 I sent on the fish and the medicine I have sent over $120 + on, a complete waste my hard earned money. I am very disappointed in this store.

Fish are a little over priced, but the first thing I notice was how well maintained the tanks were, you can tell the fish were well cared for and the owner takes pride in providing healthy fish for customers unlike most places. Would recommend.

Came here to get glow fish for my son's birthday. We had the full tank setup, everything was ready to go but I knew we wanted healthy fish. We went right away after school, so we knew we only had an hour.First - we weren't greeted. I know this isn't a big thing - but we weren't acknowledged until I went to seek out the salesman as he was otherwise occupied waiting for another group to decide on their purchases. The salesman was a total gatekeeper and we were not worthy. I get that kids aren't your thing, but just let him call them sharks rather than reiterating that they're "Glow fish". They're labeled on the tank as sharks. Maybe offer some help with how to keep them from dying as we have been praying to the fish gods for the last 15 hours. Though we didn't need help setting up the tank, when we started asking about chemicals, we clearly had no idea what we were doing and thank goodness I reached out to a friend who did help me realize the step I missed.API, thankfully, did tell us on their website which is where we purchased more of the day to day chemicals we will need to maintain the tank. What's particularly unfortunate is that we did this as a birthday present to our son and on the suggestion of a friend who LOVED how nice the folks were at the Ypsi location. But he did have a lot of advice for the folks buying the frogs and cooler things - just not the family buying the glowfish.Let us all pray to the fish gods that they make it because I really hope they do! Picture included to show they did make it home.

Nice little store. Super helpful staff-I have never gone in here and was not greeted nicely and offered help. Very knowledgeable staff. Only issue is-their saltwater tanks are filled with aptasia. I don't get it. This is an issue for every single store but it seems like they don't even try. I was scouting out their store when my tank was cycling so I saw it once when I started and then 6 weeks later it was the same or worse so I did leave time to see if they tried to control it and they did not. So I will personally avoid the store just to avoid introducing aptasia to my tank. Healthy looking livestock otherwise.

Nice, clean and good fish shop. Generally I buy tank supplies, live plants, driftwood, snails, shrimps from here but I do like to visit this place whenever I am out looking to add something to my fish tanks..
