Just went in there yesterday and tried to ask an employee a question she had an attitude and mumbled something under her breath and turned around it wasnt a hard question and it isnt a big store so idk what the deal is

Do Not Go to this Family Dollar They Scamming People, They Will Charged you twice for one item, They Do it All The Time and The Heavy Set Manager Talk Very Fast & Rude and She Lies All The Time & She Let Everybody Get away with everything. 7 years ago this family dollar was the best not no more. Since the heavy set lady runs it.

The store isn’t bad except they open and close WHENEVER!!!!! Management needs to work on that!! This store was specifically put in this area because all of the other stores are well into Westland and Canton and customers SHOULD be able to come and run in and run out but it’s NEVER OPEN!!! Well stocked store, clean and great employees. Just this one issue DO BETTER ???

Went here a couple weeks before Christmas and although the seasonal items were mostly sold out (as is expected around that time) the toys and wrapping paper/bows were fully stocked up. I was afraid to go here after reading some of the reviews but I'll definitely go back in the future now. The male cashier was helpful and friendly. As far as the store being "dirty" I mean... There was some shoeprints near the door from the rain and the tiles look old/faded but isn't that every dollar store? There wasn't any garbage/filth or bugs anywhere. Everything was very organized when I went. Way nicer than the dollar stores in Redford or Westland. Has a huge clothing section which I was impressed with, too. I'm truly confused about the negative reviews.

The store was dirty, cluttered and disorganized. I expected it to be better then it was considering it is located in Canton. I will NEVER go inside that location again.
