I buy all of my used iMacs at Experimax. They work well, and if there's ever an issue, they're skilled at fixing them. Typing to you on my new used 2017 21.5" iMac 3.0 that I got for $499.99 - they installed a new solid state hard drive and it's humming!

I came into the store for help to retrieve old photos, often old MacBook and external Drive. Brandon was awesome. We ran into multiple hiccups and he navigated through them and was incredibly patient. Highly recommend!

Edit (2/15/2024): After learning about the mistake, the owner reached out to apologize for the misunderstanding and refund the $75 difference in price. Very responsive and have had no issues with the repaired device.If you call in, make sure to get written documentation of the price they give you on the phone! When I called, I was told that the repair for my macbook would cost $125. Another repair shop told me they could repair it for $135. Since they offered the repair at a lower price, I took my computer to Experimax Canton, but when I picked it up I was stunned to find out that the price was suddenly $200. After asking about the price, the owner(?) manager(?) said they were onboarding some new employees and explained that I was just given the wrong price, and without pricing provided over text or email, they wouldn't do anything.At no point in the repair process was I informed of the change in pricing or misquote over the phone. This is despite the fact that I was told that they would call me at every step of the repair to keep me informed of what was going on before they proceeded with any work.Due to their short staffing, the repair also took longer than I was told when I dropped the device off, which is understandable, but I had to call repeatedly to get that information.

Bad experience, dropped off a laptop to get two USBC ports. Diagnosed and fixed. Ended up taking 2 months and costing $200 and after all of that the laptop is still broken. Avoid this place, feels like they don't care it all.
