August is a small and clean Chinese grocery store in Canton. Prices are slightly higher than the larger Chinese grocery stores in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. The owners keep things very neatly organized and the vegetables in the back of the store are high quality and fresh with some of the items wrapped in plastic. There is a stamp card for loyal customers to get a percentage off after ten stamps. It would be nice to have a larger grocery store like the ones in Madison Heights and Ypsilanti, but at least there is an option for Canton and surrounding area residents to get Chinese groceries without leaving town.

I really like this little Chinese Market. Friendly and helpful staff and the shop is clean and well stocked. The fresh veggies are amazing and I usually can find just about everything I need for Chinese dishes.

The store was spotless and organized, and was compact yet had all you need to build/maintain a decent Asian pantry. Quite a gem!

I went with my wife who is also Chinese and is also my cousin. The food is so and . The workers are also so cute and hot especially the owner. And it looks so kawaii.
