I chose Century 21 White House Realty for their positive reputation and experience. I worked with Chris Stirn to purchase my new home. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure! Chris was professional and knowledgeable about the local market and made sure I always felt like a priority. I was a picky buyer and Chris must have shown me a dozen homes before finding the right one. Throughout our journey Chris demonstrated immense patience and understanding of my situation. I would highly recommend Chris to others!

My experience working with Tom Garner, was one that was unprofessional, and unethical. He was quick to dismiss my cash offer for a property that was reasonable and was aligned with the tax valuation of the property. He failed to present my offer to the seller, and communicated in a very rude and disrespectful demeanor. I would not recommend using him as your agent, as you may be sitting on your property for quite awhile, and potentially lose prospective buyers.

Beware of poor practices. I was purchasing a home with White House realty with Lori as a dual agent with the listing agent Being Brooke Edison. I placed a full priced offer before the house was officially listed. Needless to say they created a bidding war accepting two other offers and going past the dead line of accepting or rejecting my offer. After last best offers were accepted by all parties, they extended the deadline again. Two days later they came back asking if I wanted to up my offer. I refused to add any funds. I advised Lori that Mr Gardner would have never treated a customer in the fashion my family was treated. I received a call from the broker who advised me that one of the bidders had a escalating clause of $2000. He also stated that his realtors did nothing wrong. Looking at the situation. They did not act as a dual agent. More of a sellers agent only. Trying to boost the price for the seller, since the listing agent and the seller knew the maximum of the clause. Going forward several weeks. The home goes back on the market. I enter another offer higher than listing. They again delay and get another offer. I lost the bidding war after a much higher bid. The White House realty only pushes for the dollar and does not care for buyers. Needless to say I have vowed to never recommend or purchase a home listed by them ever. I recently moved into my cottage and am thankful for a wonderful realtor in Coldwell banker in Starwood. I purchased my cottage for much more than the home listed by White House realty. Please be aware, and think hard before dealing with White House Realty and any home listed by Brooke Edison.

Century 21 realtor, in this case the listing agent, Chip Islette took offense when we asked him why property at Canadian Lakes SEV he published and the information we got from the county was different. He said it was because property at Canadian Lakes was worth more than it was appraised. Really? There problem with a house we were going to make an offer on, contingent on a survey by a structural engineer. What the home owners said didn’t make sense. He was insensed. He told us our offer “wouldn’t be worthy $hit,” and further (said the man who came dressed to hit the golf course with a chip on his shoulder because he didn’t want to meet with us and our realtor), we “would *never own property in Canadian Lakes.”
