This store was horrible. There was no where to walk, no one to help find anything, there was literally boxes everywhere. It felt like a fire hazard to be honest. After trying to find what I was looking for, I ended up leaving. I understand being short staffed, but this was the messiest Dollar General I have ever been in.

This is the worst Dollar General in the whole area. Half the time when I try to go here there is a sign on the door that says "we are temporarily closed." I'm not overreacting, they literally close the store all the time during business hours. I don't think corporate would be very happy to know they are closing the store. This store also has a lot less items than the other ones, and frequently runs out of what they do have.

They have a great variety of goods, and the store is always being restocked. The workers are all friendly and efficient. I have not met a single worker who was not friendly. It's usually busy later in the day. If you ask for help, they will help you find what you're looking for. Unless it is super busy at the moment. However, lines move fast. Nice if they played good music in the background perhaps. It is a great asset to Calumet.

With a small town, I shop here a lot and have the same rude experience with the older lady( manager) and one other coworker who literally won’t look up at your face and scan your stuff, throw it in bags, breakable and all. No hi, no goodbye, no eye contact, it’s weird and astonishing how these people have this job working with public. Older woman today just threw 2 breakable plants with ceramic vases in bag with other stuff and large glass candle. As soon as I got my change she started running off, I told her yet again no hello and she is rude as usual and I sat and rebagged my own breakables. She literally didn’t respond or look at me when I told her and I than told her I was reporting her to corporate. Still no response no eye contact. The place is also a mess all the time, you have to maneuver around carts and stuff all over. Messiest, dirtiest dollar general I’ve been to.

Front door not shoveled out almost fell. Thank God a man was there to catch me from falling on me 3 year old boy.
