5100 28th St SE, Grand Rapids“We love Costco! Staff has always been super friendly and helpful. We've had especially great interactions with the optical staff as of late; the gentleman working this afternoon was kind enough to adjust the glasses I purchased at another location over a week ago, and he even adjusted my friends glasses for her without even caring that they weren't purchased at Costco.
We make sure to come at lunch time - the Costco food court is my favorite restaurant! I love the pepperoni pizza - bonus points for each slice being the size of my face. We typically fill our cart after filling our bellies; the free samples are a major hit with my toddler, who is never hungry while we're eating lunch, but is of course famished while we're doing our shopping. Todays sample was pasta with a little toddler sized fork. She was able to practice her fork-handling skills while simultaneously filling the void in her tummy. It was a win for everyone.
I love that we can find something new with each visit. Today we bought a hammock chair. Wheeee!! I forgot that I had wanted one, so thanks for that!
Thank you for existing, Costco. You are my favorite.”
“Friendly staff, long loading times. Make sure your trailer is CLEAN with no broken glass shards (they have signs everywhere saying this..you will not be loaded if they find any). No parking on site if you run out of hours. Can park on Raleigh Street about a quarter mile away back across Kraft Street near another Columbian Logistics facility.”
“UPDATED: the content described was too profane for google maps, sorry, but this is what I saw at Amazon. Not safe for GAYS. They have a Chick-fil-A foodtruck on their property that has a homophobic slur hidden in their Instagram screen name. This review and the pictures have been taken down because they are too offense to put in a google review, but are welcome at Amazon. I keep trying to update this review so it will stay up.Management calls Chick-fil-A part of their “community of builders” and say that as long as chick-fil-a doesn’t do anything while on the premises that they don’t care.Management does not care that a homophobic slur is “cleverly” hidden on the truck. Purposeful, logical, or not, it is completely inappropriate.Have Pride in yourself, stay away from this place, or be forced to read a homophobic slur everyday. And if you think this is “woke” or “going too far” then read up on the history of a local company Biggby Coffee formally “Beaners””
