Beware!!! This is a scam! They find a way to get out of paying anything. Please read the fine print. A friend of mine was told they won't cover anything after him paying since 2007. He now has to pay $10,000+ and get a new insurance company.

I really regret choosing this insurance company. I chose it because I wanted to save money and read reviews that were not true. Please choose carefully. They did not pay the claim. My loss reached 25,000 US dollars, and they gave an assessment of 1,700 US dollars, and then deductible $2,500. In other words, they will not pay a penny. They made various excuses and their attitude was very tough. The claims adjuster was irresponsible and his boss was unreasonable. The insurance company did not fulfill the contract and introduced unfair terms. My statement is based on facts. I am ready to sue. But this will consume our energy and money. When I questioned why my neighbor could get compensation from another insurance company in the same situation, this boss Mr. Myron, actually said, "You can choose another insurance company. go ahead now." This is the level of the company's senior management.
Buying insurance is not for cheapness. If the claims are not good, buying insurance loses its meaning. We buy insurance to prevent accidents, but the insurance company is unable to bear our accidental losses. Even if it is a hundred or eighty dollar cheaper, it is better not to bear the expensive insurance premium. In the end, we have to sue them. It is really a big lesson.

Terrible, they confirmed a home policy without anyone’s consent or going over any amounts coverage options..just signed it on their own behalf.

Turned down for homeowners insurance because of a fire 5 years ago. Obviously the cause of the fire was fixed, so this property likely lower risk than other places.

Cancelled my insurance after a month that I signed up with them to save money. Now going back to my previous insurance will cost more. They could have done evaluations prior or pulled public record permits.
I have had this certified & had 3 well reputed roofers come out to tell me everything is fine so. Absolutely unprofessional! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Almost 20 years being with them and had a run of bad luck the past 4 years (wind damage, water damage and vandalism) and they have canceled my homeowners. Isn't this why you have insurance??Leaves a bad taste in your mouth if this is how you treat loyal customers.

I wish I read these reviews before purchasing . I have a landlord policy and it's been 2 weeks and not even an update or call back in regards to my claim. I have one point of contact which seems strange. The portal says " in review ".
In the past with another company ( i will be returning to ) when I had a claim there was an adjuster out the next day and preparations for repairs were started immediately.
Here I have one guy Brent Wolf who doesn't Answer his calls or return voicemail. I dont even know if the claim is accepted . My tenant has a shattered sliding glass door they just have to live with in the AZ heat. This is so unprofessional. At least have a customer care. Oh also I requested a supervisor call . They said I'd get one NOPE sure didn't. RUUUUNNN save yourself the headache. I have no affiliate with allstate but they were so much better .

Terrible company. We've had 1 home insurance claim in years of coverage, due to the heaviest snowstorm in 15 years (Jan 12, 2024) and for that reason they wouldn't even provide us with a quote. It was even a miniscule payout, hardly anymore than the deductible. The entire point of your industry and service is to
provide insurance in the inclement event it's needed!

I used Thum to obtain a Foremost insurance policy for my RV. I had them from 2018-April 2024. In Dec. 2023 I requested cancelation, you have to physically call the agency to get them to process it. A month later I get charged again, Thum tells me sorry, I have to complete a form they forgot to send me. I do the form and the next month I am charged again. I try calling and emailing, no response from the agent.
I call foremost, they promise if I send the declarations page from my State Farm policy they will refund me to the date of that policy start. I do as asked and again the next month I am charged. So, recap, I have now been charged 5 months post request for cancelation and the agency agent will not respond and Foremost is also unreliable.
I file complaints with my state AG consumer protection office, the MI AGs office and the Thum agent contacts me that the policy is canceled and they will refund the charges to the date of the original cancelation request.
Of course, its been over 30 days and the promised refund has not shown up. Thum blames Foremost and Foremost has no interest in ethical business pratices- the 2 are suited for each other.. I am really glad I never had to rely on them to honor the insurance policy if there had been a claim.

They dropped my insurance after 12 years of not missing a payment and always being on time because they said I live in a fire area. Because of so many other claims from other people I am being penalized for it.

Seeing all these bad reviews kind of scared me. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them maybe it’s Becuz my claim are not that big but I had to file claims two years in a row now and was taken care of pretty quick. I agree the way depreciation works kind of sucks and would be worse if the claim was bigger Becuz you have to wait on that part of the money and a lot of times it’s hard to find someone to do the work for what you got and wait on the other payment but overall I would have to say I’ve only had good experiences with them
