Passports by appointment w/ some walk-in hours. Initially was rejected due to the USPS employee failing to complete her portion of the application. Took about 3 weeks to receive the rejection letter, then another 3 weeks for the corrected application to be approved and passport received.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I dropped off a huge mailer, in and out in no time, because the staff knew what to do.

Rude. Rude. Rude. I’ve normally had good experiences with the staff here but today, this lady was so rude and impatient I just left :( she was even rude to the person behind me in line as I was leaving!

Had my mail I paid to have shipped out from there for security, confidentiality & delivery timing reasons lost twice, in a two week span. Both mailings were time sensitive now late & lost. Ridiculous, stay far from this place & go elsewhere. Wouldn't even provide me proof that THEY lost my mail causing my paperwork to be late/denied.

Consistently miss letters and packages. Today she pulled up and I had workers working on the roof. She asked them is the owner home. He said yes his son is. She said we’ll he needs to walk out here and get this package. He said we’ll he down in the basement working cant you just leave it on the porch. She said no if he’s not here in 2 minutes I’m leaving.So he went and got my son he grabbed the package and she was still nasty and rude to him. The worker said ma’am loose they attitude. She drove off but on her back on the other side stopped and started filming my house. My son said the painter saw this and slid down the ladder with his hand RAN to his truck full speed and started tapping her. She then immediately drove away. Laziest USPS worker ever and a nasty B..chThankfully a really cool guy was there to stand up for my teenage son.

Looking to open a Post Office Box for my small business, sadly for a year it cost over 3 times the amount it would if I were to drive to Moline, Dorr, or Jamestown. Not entirely sure why the ridiculous price gouge. I want people to know my business is run out of B.C. but with these prices I'm tempted to make the drive.

Had the worst "customer service" (and I use that term lightly) at the Byron Center post office today by a boy named Jacob. Jacob, who was clearly not mature enough to handle his emotions was rude and obnoxious andclearly allowed his job status to go directly to his head! I wonder, is telling a customer that if they wish to send something "express mail" they will have to come back tomorrow and finish their transaction because it is 5 o'clock and they are closed the way we conduct business these days? I walked through the doors at 4:50pm and there was approximately a half a dozen people ahead of me but I guess it was too much to much to ask of Jacob get the same service, consideration and work ethic that was provided to the 6 people ahead of me? Seriously USPS ...is Jacob the best you can do? Sad!

Best Post Office around!! Always friendly and speedy service. They are super helpful. I would drive out of my way just to go to this Post Office.

"The drivers just kind of do what they want..."This is what I was told at the USPS office, when I went to inquire about why I had not received mail in over a week...Many others from my neighborhood have complained to the office about this, with no resolution. The USPS office tells people it is due their vehicles getting stuck in the snow...there has been no snow in 10 days, and the temps have been in the 40's..on top of keeping my mailbox clear of snow when its present..The office staff are friendly, though they were quick to try to get me out and stop asking questions.. Unfortunately, the office is fully aware of driver issues and not willing to do anything.I wish I could have more empathy and say this was because of USPS struggling recently, and/or with covid. However having spoken to longer term residents, this is a continuous issue with USPS.I have also noticed drivers seem to pick and choose which houses to deliver to.. As a newer resident I have not had any interactions with the driver, so I am assuming its not a personal vendetta.. Again though with my mailbox fully clear, I'm still not sure how the driver picks who gets mail that day..On heavy snow days I would be willing to accept this lack of service, however this occurs even during light snowfall.. Additionally, the fact a small Toyota passenger car, as well as fedex (with one van CHAINED to another during peak holiday delivery's) are able to easily access the area in snow speaks only to driver laziness.. Again see "The drivers just kind of do what they want.."The only solution seems paying for a PO box, since the drivers take the mail in the vehicle. This means you can't go in person to get your mail most days, as the office closes at 4pm..Since nothing will change all I can hope is that this review doesn't create retaliation, and I never get my mail...

I honestly prefer this post office more than others! I willingly drive myself to this location and I am located across Rivertown Mall. I know there is a post office near there, but I trust this location a lot more. I am soon moving to the Holland/Zeeland area and I will definitely drive back to this location as a first choice if I get the chance to. Every employee I had met with there are very nice!
