Beware, if you leave a bad review Tara will call you and yell at you. After I picked up my taxes I was sent a survey in my email. I filled it out honestly which meant giving a few things: 1 star because I was never called that my taxes where done, also they are only open once a week, and when we went to go pick them up she wasn’t even there and we had to come back. Also, whenever you go in there it always seemed like Tara was in a bad mood and made going in uncomfortable. Upon filling out the survey, Tara called and yelled at me saying she did call me, I have no call log of her ever calling or texting and if you look at the one star reviews she is a frequent liar, when I tried to say that I never got a call she told me she didn’t want to argue and that she didn’t care while yelling at me and then told me that she had called my brother about his taxes mind you he is separate client who moved to South Carolina so how that pertained to my opinion on timeliness I still don’t know. I am 18 and this was my first time doing my taxes and this was my experience. I will be switching to another place. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever met.

I've been using the service for better part of a decade and a half after the last 3 years. I will not be using the service anymore. I could not be any more dissatisfied at the complete lack of communication. the exorbitant price and the duration that it took to complete a simple single employer W-2 based tax return.

Tara is a great tax preparer, professional and fun to work with! Dawn the receptionist is just as great! They're the reason I still do in person tax filing. Seriously H&R Block these two are beautiful humans!

I went to H&R this year for the first time because I got a solar system and didn't know how to get the Michigan tax credit back. My tax "professional" said that I wouldn't be getting a tax credit back. She said she called the folks I got my loan through and that they would take care of the tax credit. I called the company and asked if this was true and they said that it isn't and that I still need to get my solar tax credit. So H&R's tax "professional" lied about making the phone call and had I not followed up I would have lost $8400! Also, went to another firm to refile my taxes and they got me another $2000 back from the Fed. Never going back to H&R again. This is ridiculous.

Lied about how much they would be charging to file my return to add to that took my money and then lied about that as well complete fraud! I’d strongly recommend using turbo tax and filing your returns yourselves! Save yourself some money and headache from dealing with this fraudulent clowns!

Highly recommend using a different H&R Block. Tara was great at first till my taxes were filed. After is another story.... Their are multiple other H&R offices near by. Highly recommend staying away from this store and Tara. Unprofessional.

Tara was very rude. I Left my paper work and a phone number. Never got a phone call. So I called and they said they were working on my taxes and would call me. I waited for 2 hours. Called back and got put on hold for a long time. I showed up and Tara informed me that she called my number and a woman answered and put her on hold. That was a lie. I was alone with my phone all day. She gave me my paperwork back (after having it for 24 hour) and it was 4 pm on the 16th. I went to Jackson Hewitt and they were nice. That's were I will go in the future.
