I brought 2 shopping carts of bottles back to the store at 9 PM and the store is open untill 10pm, I was turned away with my bottles because they Shut Down the bottle returned at 9pm. I was told the worker can't get his job done for the night if they don't shut it at 9pm, and I would have to come back before 9pm. what a major inconvenience that was, so now I Don't shop there so much anymore just because of that. I took those bottles to Meyers store that same night and cashed them in, there is no sign any place at Krogers saying the BOTTLE RETURN is closed at 9 and the store is open till 10 any place. The staff was nice but firm. I'm sure I wasn't the 1st and will not be the last regarding this policy of this store on Bristol Road, Flint MI.

Very rude asked the lady at the check out if they was out of Aquafina water and she said apparently did not even check no wonder i will not be going back needs a new manager to look over what is happening..

There was people stocking the shelves but Only one person running a register. The you scan was eight people deep when I walked in and when I went to stand in it. I hate going there anymore it is just such a mess. The employees are so nice.

I went to Kroger to return a loaf of hard bakery bread I can't even believe they had on the shelf for a manager's special it should have been in the garbage. I dealt with Cathy, who has a horrible attitude. Cathy immediately started trying to find a reason not to give me the refund with my receipt. ?Cathy needed a mask on she coughed the whole time every now and again covering her mouth with her hand. ? I was over charged the week before on a tray of Kroger mild Italian sausage. I showed Cathy my digital receipt. My return was $2.07. That made the Italian sausage $3.42 when I told her it was $3.29. I said what about the $5 for the scanner law. Cathy said I don't know how much it was last week and there's no way for me to find out. I said you can call the meat department. The older lady in the meat department came up and said that she has no way of finding out either. ? So there is a manager standing there named Leon. Cathy tells him he said the same thing. I said why do you guys act like this store is going to go belly up over $5. ?? I said that's okay I'll call Kroger customer service. Thanks to Cathy and Leon being A-holes and acting like the money was coming out of their pockets. I was given $10 for those two inconveniencing me. I said all this to say:
“It’s a Michigan State law”.
“Michigan Scanner Law, The Shopping Reform and Modernization Act”. Cathy and Leon need to be reprimanded for not enforcing the Michigan State law.

Food way more fresher than in the black area Krogers. Meat look fresh and fruit are really good. I will be shopping here from here in out. They are way more friendly as well.
