The Pharmacist, Nate is fantastic, he is kind and helpful. There is this other guy, not sure what his name is (not a pharmacist) that acts like he hates his job and could care less about the customers. If Nate leaves, I’ll leave.

I have been going to this pharmacy since I was 18 years old. The current owner as we speak should not even own a business let alone speak to anyone the way he did. He is a very disrespectful man and rude to say the least. With that being said I did switch pharmacies at the age of nearly 40 because of him and him alone. I wondered why I never saw him in the pharmacy until one day last week there's a reason for that the man is not business like or customer service oriented anyway she perform. I'll leave it at that. Spread the word there's a reason the place is falling apart and it's him complete j*** to put it mildly. There were two witnesses also that concurred... To each his own I will never be treated like that by any business owner. And I am reporting him and just for those of you out there wondering no controlled substances were involved so think beyond that...

I've used this pharmacy since moving to Brooklyn in 1967. They still offer the best of all their services and are helpful, compassionate and professional. Their delivery service is kindness personified. I praise God for their continuing presence in our Village.

Long time customer and since Steve has left wheatherwax it has gone down hill drastically. They were suppose to open at 9am and didnt open until 9:15. When I went in to get my prescriptions the woman pharmacist proceeded to get very rude and tell me her computer was not ready and that I would have to wait. It wouldnt have been an issue but the way she said it was very very rude! While I waited I could hear her in the back complaining about me and all I did was tell her i was there to get my medication. When I told Todd I didn't appreciate being treated that way he basically told me to go else where if i didnt like it. I am now going to another local pharmacy and have had no issues at all. It's a shame that after years of going to wheatherwax and all the money I have spent their I was treated with such disrespect. I miss Steve and his family. If I could give this place 0 stars I would!

I used to love picking up my husband's prescriptions and checking out all the new and unique gifts the store carried. Those have drastically gone downhill with the new management. But that is not my main reason for writing this review. We had a good relationship with Weatherwax with Steve, his wife, and their daughter until Todd took over the first of the year. Todd is demeaning, rude, boisterous, belittling, and disrespectful to customers who have no control over his rants. I was rudely and brashly treated on the last two occasions by Todd personally. He also did not care that his rant was towards a terminally ill patient and threatened to withhold his drugs if the State of MI did not pay him in a more timely fashion (i.e. less than 30 days). He did not care that this had been a workable situation for the past year and a half with the store. Therefore, I will not step foot in the store again nor recommend it to anyone. Obviously, they do not need our 46k worth of prescriptions a year. We have found a local competitor pharmacy which has no problem dealing with the State of MI and was happy to oblige. Weatherwax lost a great deal of customer service with Steve -- while yes, he did get frustrated at times, he never would have treated a long time customer in the fashion Todd has chosen to treat us.

This is a great warm, home town ,hidden gem of a pharmacy. Not only can you get your prescriptions filled quickly, you"ll want to take a look at the very unique gift and clothing line. Not just your everyday pharmacy. You will find unique gifts for that unique friend or perhaps a little something for yourself. Weather wax has been part of Brooklyn's quaint feel since my childhood in the mid 60s and still going strong. You will know your home when you walk in and are greeted by your first name. Take a wonderful step back into part of Brooklyn's warm family feel.

I've been using this pharmacy for several years. They are very fast, friendly and helpful. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes when filling a prescription. They have so many unique items in the retail area. You are sure to find one of a kind items.
