I accidentally arrived there today after driving to Brooklyn to look for a piece of furniture at the local antique mall. I was super disappointed at the antique mall, and I was just turning around in a parking lot to head home.
That's when I saw the sign for "IDK" being around the back of this lot. My mom and I went inside, and they have somehow packed a ton of cool things into a reasonably small space.
I loved their creativity, but even better....the owner (I think she's the owner...) and guy alwo working were so kind and helpful. I was looking at a cabinet there, and she came up with all kinds of creative ways to possibly use it in my space.
They also love cats, so that makes them even more impressive! If you like cool things, love old style charm, and can respect creativity and kind people...highly recommend!!

I have found several unique pieces at IDK throughout every season. Local artists and items that truly are one of a kind! I've also purchased gifts here- lamps, paintings- just incredible uniqueness that highlights any room or space. Amazing addition to downtown Brooklyn!

Such a unique and fun experience! We purchased a super cute flannel. The lady working was the sweetest and we enjoyed some yummy treats from the bakery that had their goodies available today.

So we saw this place facebook! Just a random share. We made the drive(from ypsi/Belleville area) and weren’t disappointed ( i dragged my family with). The owner is absolutely amazing and definitely has a eye for oddities! I was in love and will definitely be back. This is a must see kinda place!
